2ND RACE:
Winning Crusader - Part of Cerin-trained entry, dueled lead when 4-wide and 2nd by a neck in last, in the quinella 5 of most recent 8 starts with a trio of victories, should make the running from rail post, may be elusive target here. Nursery Crime - Late bid close 3rd to top pick in last, in the quinella 10 of 24 starts at this distance, Avila trainee reunites with Berrio here, late runner needs honest pace to run at, fits well in this spot. Value Play -- Gold Disc
3RD RACE:
Margeds Dancer - Speedster set pace and just missed by a head when 2nd in last, pacesetter and nailed on the wire when 2nd by a nose before that, in the quinella 6 of 9 career starts, good inside post here, the one to catch again. Key to Success - Eliminated by post while wide at a mile on the lawn in last, solid 3rd at this trip before that, broke maiden in gate-to-wire fashion at this distance three races back, Ramsammy now on Lukas trainee, should shadow top pick. 4TH RACE:
Something Else - Dueled outside and held debut 2nd at 7-panels in last, solid works since raced, bred to like lawn, Nakatani stays on Hassinger trainee, had race, should be a forward diploma factor here. 5TH RACE:
Morell's Love - Ventured to Northern California to win at Golden Gate in last, won at half this price at this trip and track before that, 3 of 5 lifetime victories from 7 starts at this distance and is 2-for-2 at Hollypark, threepeat within range. City Doc - Dueled lead from inside while overmatched and outfinished in last, 3rd in prior pair of outings, won when claimed for half this price four races back, should be competitive in this spot, needs clean trip from inner post. Value Play -- Another Olive
6TH RACE:
Sum Nice - Freshened since dull late-April outing, most recent drills solid works with recent bullet move, runner-up down the hill two races back, won prior pair of starts, reunites with winning rider Nakatani for this. Andover the Money - Stumbled at the start and again during race when outrun in last, won at a mile over this course before that, showed speed down the hill at Anita four races back, fits here, hustling Pedroza now, may get the Money. Value Play -- La Vuelta
7RH RACE:
Rock O - Part of three-pronged potent Chapman-trained entry, won only lifetime start with steady handling over this track in last, swift solid works since, Gomez again, should dictate the tempo, entrymates give solid support. Delight Of Summer - Made strong bid mid-stretch to win clear in maiden breaker in last, debut 3rd before that, sharp works since raced with most recent drill a bullet move on the 14th, trainer Baffert employs McCarron for this trip.
