Lucy Lucas Ambrosio
Lucy Lucas Ambrosio, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 23, 1915, in New York state. A long time resident, she was a social worker.
She is survived by her husband, Alphonso Ambrosio.
Burial will be in Newport Beach, Calif. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson handled arrangements.
Hilda A. Brown
Hilda A. Brown, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born March 7, 1914, in New York City. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired airport security worker, a member of the Henderson Senior Center and the Whitney Senior Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane Johnson of Walnut Creek, Calif.; one son, Ken Brown of Las Vegas; one brother, Morris Diamond of California; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. The family requests donations to Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute, 560 San Antonio Ave., Palo Alto, Calif.
Reginald D. Burton
Reginald D. Burton, 15, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1983, in Las Vegas.
He is survived by his parents, Regina Burton of Las Vegas and Mitchell Burton of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Mitchell Burton II and Jeremy Brown, and one sister, Latrice Carter, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, James and Elizabeth Jones of Las Vegas and Martha and the Rev. Ted Cuveston of Houston.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 D St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Torrence M. Clow
Torrence M. Clow, 48, of Henderson died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 15, 1951, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 30 years, he was an elevator mechanic and a member of Elevator Construction Local 18.
He is survived by his wife, Debora; three daughters, Angelique Kost, Sheena Clow and Courtney Clow, all of Henderson; one step-daughter, Michelle Raoult of Colorado; his parents, Thelma Jenkins of Paragonah, Utah and Melvin Clow of Colorada; three sisters, Torrie Hunter of Albuquerque, N.M., Andrea Cripps of Atlanta and Georgia Spears of Carbondale, Ill.; two brothers, Greg Clow of Las Vegas and Roger Clow of Hawaii; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday in the Valley Verde LDS Ward.
Laura Smith Corey
Laura Smith Corey, 92, of Las Vegas died June 10 in a local care center. She was born March 18, 1907, in Dunnville, Ontario. A resident for three years, she was a stewardess and a member of the Elks.
She is survived by one daughter, Maureen Trabucco of Las Vegas; one son, Robert Corey of Niagara Fall, N.Y.; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Niagara Falls. Valley Memorial Crematory, 745 W. Sunset Road No. 16, Henderson.
Jewell Marie DiMaggio
Jewell Marie DiMaggio, 78, of Las Vegas died June 11 in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Kentucky. A resident for 28 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Diane DiMaggio of Camden, Maine.
Graveside services were scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today in Palm Valley View.
Billy English
Billy English, 29, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 19, 1969, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was disabled.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara English, two brothers, Rodney English and Cyril Powenski, one sister, Tonya Powenski, and his grandmother, Dora M. Brooks, all of Las Vegas; and three aunts, Linda Zuniga of Los Angeles, and Pat English and Beverly Brooks, both of Las Vegas.

Herbert Fischer
Herbert Fischer, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 24 years, he was an owner/operator in the home furnishing industry, owner of Ethan Allen Home Interiors, former president of Better Business Bureau, former director of Business Council Chamber of Commerce and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; and two sons, Robert H. Fischer of Las Vegas and Thomas S. Fischer of San Francisco.
Services were scheduled for 3 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Palm Valley View Cemetery. The family suggests donations to Temple Beth Sholom and the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Effie Lee Guice
Effie Lee Guice, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 7, 1909, in Brandon, Miss. A resident for 30 years, she was foster grandmother.
She is survived by six grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Bunkers Chapel.
Matthew Allan Hansen
Matthew Allan Hansen, 16, of Las Vegas died Monday in San Bernardino, Calif. He was born Jan. 1, 1983, in Charleston, S.C. A resident for 15 years, he was a student at Chaparral High School, a member of the varsity baseball team and Little League Baseball team.
He is survived by his father and step-mother, Clifford A. Hansen and Maureen Hansen, his mother and step-father, Deborah Ann Burns and Curtis Burns, three brothers, Christopher Hansen, Timothy Hansen and Alexander Hansen, and his grandparents, Lawrence and Margaret Casel, all of Las Vegas.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Angele Laporte
Angele Laporte, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born April 29, 1908, in Verstrate, Belgium. A resident for 48 years, she was a retired pantry worker.
She is survived by one daughter, Martha Worrall of Las Vegas; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements. The family request donations to Odyssey Hospice.
Betty Jean Moore
Betty Jean Moore, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Laguna Beach, Calif. She was born Oct. 28, 1923, in Eureka. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia L. Moore of Reno, Melody Ann Moore-Liddle of Las Vegas and Kathleen Selitzer of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; one sister, Audrey Woods of Long Beach, Calif.; and two grandchildren Amanda and Bryce.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
Sandra Helene Oates Parish
Sandra Helene Oates Parish, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 22, 1944, in Massachusetts. A resident for six years, she was a court road deputy clerk for the federal government.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny; one son, Michael Parish, and her parents, Lester Free and Virginia Sturdivant, all of Las Vegas.
No services scheduled. The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Marie H. Pickerell
Marie H. Pickerell, 86, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 17, 1913, in Stergis, Ky. A resident for 58 years, she was a clerk /cashier in a gift shop.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Ballew of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled for noon today in Spring Valley Baptist Church, 3135 S. Rainbow Blvd. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
David F. Radecki
David F. Radecki, 58, of Henderson died June 9 in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Detroit. A resident for six years, he ws a retired cab driver.
He is survived by three daughters, Lisa Sparks, Donnette Kelso and Gina Boustany, all of Henderson; his mother, Irene Trussel of Hemet, Calif.; four brothers, Dennis Radecki of Depew. N.Y., Henry Radecki of Las Vegas, Joey Maciejewski of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Lowell Miles of Miami; one sister, Judy Trussel of Hesperia, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

W. George Reed
W. George Reed, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Boulder City. He was born June 9, 1920, in Nickerson, Neb. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired oil field foreman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn J.; two daughters, Ellen Hoppke of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Diane Evans of Cypress, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Deborah Rickard of Pittsburgh, Judith Bailey of Cleveland and Crystal Drinnin of San Clemente, Calif.; three stepsons, Donald Scalfaro of Chicago, James Boykin of Riverside, Calif., and Eddie Kukish of Boulder City; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Eddie G. Rosser, 63, of Las Vegas died June 11 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1935, in Grantville, Ga. A resident for two years, he was a automobile detailer.
He is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Rene Rosser, Sharon Jackson and Shandra Jackson, two sons, Joseph D. Rosser and Stanley Arnold, all of Atlanta; one brother, Willie Rosser of San Francisco; four sisters, Bobbie Atchison of Las Vegas, Bertha Simmons, Charlie Kate and Geneva Johnson, all of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane.
Pauline Seapy
Pauline Seapy, 76, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born June 30, 1922, in Ravenna, Ohio. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Marjorie Seapy of Claremont, Calif., Bobbi Seapy of Victorville, Calif., and Lauren Kaminski of Henderson; one son, Douglas Seapy of Las Vegas; one brother, Sal Kubiskie of Phoenix; one sister, Margaret Griffin of Northfield, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Arthur Paul Semrau, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born July 17, 1922, in Kenosha, Wis. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired owner/operator in the hair piece business.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Jane Sadauskas of Las Vegas; two sons, Rene Semrau of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Mike Semrau of Texas; three sisters, Helen Harold, Erna Rizzotto and Elsie Kraft, one brother, Larry Semrau, all of Florida; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:30 until 3 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Cemetery.

Lillian Singer, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1918, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, she was a owner/operator in the seamstress industry.
She is survived by one daughter, Susan Leger of Las Vegas; one son, Richard Singer of Monrovia, Calif.; one sister, Sarah Kiss of Chicago; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Adolf K. Van Betuw, 67, of Pahrump died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born March 14, 1932, in Jakarta, Indonesia. A resident for nine years, he was a retired foreman for a manufacturing company.
He is survived by his wife, Eugenie; four daughters, Desire Anderson of Corona, Calif., Muriel Erickson of Pine River, Minn., Gina Van Betuw of Las Vegas and Xandra Barbato of Westerly, R.I.; four sons, Arthur Van Betuw of Pahrump, Walter Van Betuw of Temecula, Calif., and Joseph Van Betuw and John Van Betuw, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Lucy Sumolang of Lakewood, Calif., Shirley Gunn of Culver City, Calif., Juliette Vercammen of Zaandam, Holland and Mary Lubbers of Delfzyl, Holland; and seven grandchildren.

Doris Evelyn Wallen
Doris Evelyn Wallen, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Jan. 20, 1925, in Texas. A resident for 37 years, she was a secretary for the state of Nevada.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebel Wallen of Alaska; two sons, Mike Wallen of Henderson and Patrick Wallen of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday in Bunkers Chapel, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial is private.
