De La Hoya-Trinidad news conference on TV

Las Vegas 1 (Cox Cable channels 1 and 39) will provide live coverage of Saturday's Oscar De La Hoya-Felix Trinidad news conference at the Las Vegas Hilton Theater. The telecast will begin at 7 p.m.
Both fighters along with their promoters, Bob Arum (De La Hoya) and Don King (Trinidad), will speak in anticipation of the much-awaited Sept. 18 welterweight championship bout scheduled for the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
The news conference is unique in that it is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors at the Hilton Theater will open at 6 p.m. Entertainment begins at 7 with the fighters expected to approach the microphone at 7:30.
The news conference is the culmination of a fight media tour that began Monday in New York City and featured stops in Chicago, Miami, San Juan, P.R., Houston, Dallas, Mexico City and Los Angeles.
