Riverboat to re-open

The Club Cal-Neva plans to open a portion of the Riverboat property on Friday.
Eighty-three rooms in the east tower will be open for the weekend. The rest of the tower will open in about three weeks, and all 115 rooms in the west tower by the end of July, Cal-Neva officials said.
Cal-Neva bought the Riverboat's east tower for $1.8. It holds a three-year lease option to purchase the west tower and the casino for $2.9 million.
The Cal-Neva, which has no hotel rooms of its own, also is leasing the Virginian Hotel-Casino and reopened that property in May.
