Jerry Dean Abney
Jerry Dean Abney, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 2, 1933, in Tuscola, Ill. A resident for 40 years, he was retired from the mobile home industry and was a Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; one daughter, Cynthia Abney Hatcher of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one son, Jerry Dean Abney Jr. of Connecticut; and one sister, Janet Kay Hart of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Ella Elizabeth Barber
Ella Elizabeth Barber, 94, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 6, 1905, in Nukalofa, Tonga. A resident for 1 1/2 years, she was a church volunteer.
She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the LDS Smoke Ranch/Jones Ward, 7401 W. Smoke Ranch Road.

Rosa Bizzarro
Rosa Bizzarro, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 3, 1906, in Italy. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived two sons, Peter Bizzarro and Frank Bizzarro, and one daughter, Maria Micholetti, all of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Howard Bolin
Howard Bolin, 50, of Las Vegas died June 6 in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Tallulah, La. A resident for nine years, he was retired.
He is survived by three daughters, Zina Rochelle Herndon of Las Vegas, Tempest Bolin of Las Vegas and Keisha Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; four sons, Patrick Bolin of Tampa, Fla., Deangelo Bolin and Cameron Davis, both of Las Vegas, and Howard Bolin Jr. of Phoenix; three sisters, Doris Cage and Dianne Williams, both of Las Vegas, and Linda Holmes of Tallulah; and three brothers, Ronnie Potts of Las Vegas, Gary of Los Angeles and Hal Williams of Austin, Texas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1100 N. D St. Burial will be private.
Margaret Bufford
Margaret Bufford, 54, of Las Vegas died June 10 in a local hospice. She was born March 11, 1945, in Dallas. A resident for 11 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Bufford of Fort Campbell, Ky., and Marguerite Bufford of Las Vegas; her mother, Geraldine Smith of Dallas; two brothers; seven sisters; and six grandchildren.

Rita R. DeBaugh
Rita R. DeBaugh, 73, of Boulder City died Tuesday in Boulder City. She was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Kendallville, Ind. A resident for 32 years, she was a retired secretary for a metal recycling plant.
She is survived by her husband, Paul H.; two sons, Kevin Shambarger of Boulder City and Brad Shambarger of Kendallville, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

William Z. DeRosia
William Z. DeRosia, 58, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 21, 1940, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for eight months, he was a retired IRS examiner and a member of E. Clampus Vitas, Jim Savage Chapter for 16 years.
He is survived by his wife, Daviee LeNene DeRosia; four sons, William DeRosia, Anton Valentin, Roman Valentin and Rick Macias; two daughters, Laura Halvosa and Christine Macias; one brother, Ted DeRosia; and four grandchildren.

Jerry Lynn Dewsnup, 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 4, 1945, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 11 years, she was a secretary at Dewsnup American Inc. Construction.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence C.; four daughters, Anna M. Tanner and Jennifer A. Larsen, both of West Jordan, Utah, Amy Jo Greenwood of Livingston, Tenn., and Marnie L. Reyes of Las Vegas; three sons, Charles M. Dewsnup, Logan W. Dewsnup and Timothy C. Dewsnup, all of Las Vegas; her parents, Charles E. and Rhea L. O'Nash of Sandy, Utah; two sisters, Barbara O'Nash and Bettey O'Nash, both of Salt Lake City; and 13 grandchildren.

Augustine 'Gus' Donati
Augustine "Gus" Donati, 74, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Syracuse, N.Y. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired chemical engineer and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; and one sister, Norma McCall of Liverpool, N.Y.

Edgar W. Gleisner
Edgar W. Gleisner, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born March 22, 1922, in Chicago. A resident for 20 years, he was a retired board writer in the gaming industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Peterson of Eugene, Ore., and Karen Climpson of Orland Park, Ill.; two brothers, Gilbert Gleisner of Chicago and Leonard Gleisner of Burbank, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be noon Friday in Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Sally Ann Hensley
Sally Ann Hensley, 57, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 4, 1941. A resident for 41 years, she was a civil engineering draftsman and a member of the National Association of Land Surveyors.
She is survived by two daughters, Anna Marie Hensley and Tammie Hensley Stratton, and one sister, Sue Necsi, all of Las Vegas; two nieces; one nephew; and two grandchildren.

Joyce King
Joyce King, 72, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in England. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Southern Nevada Square Dancing Association and Women's International Bowling Conference.
She is survived by her husband, Dale B. Jr.; two sons, Wayne R. King Sr. and Andrew D. King Sr., and four daughters, Sandra Pollack, JoAnn Lawrence, Terri Burris and Leslie Craven, all of Las Vegas; one uncle, Oliver T. Macey of London; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Taylor Lappin, 79, of Long Beach, Calif., died May 21 in a Long Beach hospital. She was born Nov. 2, 1919, in Hannibal, Mo. A former resident of Las Vegas for 17 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters, Carla Kirby of Torrance, Calif., Terry Starley of San Dimas, Calif., Sonja Wootton of Long Beach and Diane Ruffner of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

William Luke, 68, of Las Vegas died May 31 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 7, 1931, in Boone, Iowa. A resident for 39 years, he was in the construction business, a veteran and a recipient of the Distinguished Service Medal.
He is survived by his wife, Lori; two sons, Chuck Wilson of Las Vegas and Michael Locke of California; two daughters, Elizabeth Luke of Las Vegas and Lela Long of Washington state; and 13 grandchildren.

Steven Phillips, 37, of Henderson died June 10 in Henderson. He was born Jan. 26, 1962, in Missouri. A resident for many years, he was an airplane mechanic and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by one son, Steven Casey Phillips of Las Vegas; his mother, Norma Van Zee of Missouri; two brothers, Jeffrey Phillips of Iowa and Gregory Phillips of Missouri; and five sisters, Lisa Berry and Sara Van Zee, both of Missouri, Rhonda Bostwick of Iowa, Tammy Murdock of Colorado and Terry Phillips of Idaho.

Joseph F. Reiley, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 27, 1929, in Pottsville, Pa. A resident for five years, he was a retired collection agent for GMAC Auto Financing, a Korean War Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; five stepsons; one stepdaughter; two brothers, Daniel Reiley of Marco Island, Fla., and Thomas Reiley of Harrisburg, Pa.; one sister, Catherine Woods of Vienna, Va.; and three grandchildren.

George Franklin Rosier
George Franklin Rosier, 85, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 28, 1914, in Blue Mound, Kan. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired carpenter, a World War II Navy veteran and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by one son, James McClenahen of San Jose, Calif.; one daughter, Sally Burnham of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Edmond Smith of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Betty Julius of Las Vegas; one sister, Friedl May of Offenburg, Germany; two nieces, Heidi Muchenbach of Offenburg and Gabi Muller of Zurich, Switzerland; and two grandchildren, Kerri Smith of Prunedale, Calif., and Michael Pendergrass of Las Vegas.

He is survived by his wife, Billie; three daughters, JoAnn Nash, Vera Stanton and Tammy Clem; two brothers, Dale Waldrip and Jackie Waldrip; four sisters, Lynn Harris, Jeri Birt, Ricki Black and Lovella Lonance; and six grandchildren.

Brandon Ware, 16, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Los Angeles. He was born Sept. 19, 1982, in Augsburg, Germany. A resident for nine years, he was a Bishop Gorman High School student, a member of the cross country and basketball teams.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lynda and Wayne Lehtinen of Las Vegas; his father and stepmother, Elio and Lisa Ware, one sister, Kayla Ware, and two brothers, Logan Ware and Cameron Ware, all of Nashotah, Wis.; and his grandparents, Mae and Arthur Wooters of Las Vegas and Sarah and Morris Ware of Auburn, Ala.
