Sweet Bee - Returns to races with steady worktab, runner-up first time for a tag sprinting at Del Mar, outrun and overmatched on seaside lawn 9/98 in last, drops to lowest level for comeback. Ve Chipper - Set and pressed pace but no match for winner while distant runner-up in last, speed and second best before that, Flores returns on beaten favorite, Chipper up here. Value Play -- Windy Kat
2ND RACE:
Tanaasa - Irish-bred English-raced import outrun in Grade III Churchill Downs turf stakes after breaking slowly in U. S. debut early November in last, steady Hollypark works for return, Solis gets the call from trainer Drysdale. Lucky Molar - 5-wide and outrun routing on the main in last, close 4th in turf marathon over this course before that, forced wide and 3rd last time at this trip five races back, good spot for action. Value Play -- Cannon
3RD RACE:
Play the Field - 1st time starter by Mining, solid series of Anita works, draws good post and well placed, trainer Spawr tabs Solis for debut, take the fresh face. Russian Rose - 1st time starter by Moscow Ballet, training at Fairplex with steady works, prompt start a must from rail post, not much of proven quantity to beat here. Value Play -- Little Lollipop
4TH RACE:
Bacavi - Got the lead from rail post and shortened stride late when close runner-up at 7-panels in last, set pace and outfinished when 2nd before that, in the quinella 14 of 18 Hollypark starts with a half-dozen victories, solid here. Penal Code - Dueled lead and cleared to win as the favorite while claimed in last, both career victories from 4 Hollypark starts, Puglisi takes over for new trainer O'Neil, repeat within range. Value Play -- Go Go Edric
5TH RACE:
Rock Hound - Split foes, led and just caught when 2nd by a head first time for a tag when in need of a race in last, 3rd in prior pair of races, Solis takes over on Gonzalez trainee, had race, beware. Key Time - Drops to claimer after pair of career dull tries, best race debut effort from the rail, Gomez becomes third different jockey in as many starts, should be effective with these but needs clean trip from rail post. Value Play -- Sydney's Olympics
6TH RACE:
Air Force Woman - 4-wide trip and 3rd when in need of a race while re-claimed by trainer Chapman in last, in the quinella in four prior starts with a pair of victories, in the quinella 7 of 13 starts in fast tracks, Gomez returns for old connections. Curious Marlene - In tight and overmatched on Hollypark lawn in last, runner-up on the tan in prior pair of outings that includes a start at this distance, drops back to competitive level, reunites with Solis for this. Value Play -- Little Ballerina
7TH RACE:
Lady At Peace - 3-wide with solid daylight victory over this course at a mile in last, runner-up in restricted stakes on Anita lawn before that, broke maiden first time on grass four races back, Gomez returns on Hofmans trainee for repeat. Aviate - Stalked and 3rd in Grade II Hollypark turf stakes in last, close runner up in Grade III Hollypark turf stakes before that, in the quinella 5 of most recent 7 starts with a pair of wins, Solis takes over for this, a factor throughout. Value Play -- Courtesan
