Miss America Pageant wants Trump and Wynn to be co-grand marshals of parade

Well, the Miss America Pageant is ready to give them the chance.
Its parade committee has invited the feuding casino rivals to serve as co-grand marshals of the Sept. 17 Miss America parade, a pageant fixture in which contestants ride down the Boardwalk in open convertibles.
"Our invitation to two of the 'giants' in the casino industry is to promote Atlantic City on one of its most celebrated and traditional evenings of fun," parade committee chairman James J. Lees wrote in a June 1 letter to them.
According to Lees, a committee member suggested the idea and others endorsed it. He says the rivalry between Trump and Wynn - the men often insult each other and their companies are constantly battling it out in court - isn't his business.
"They are, in their own right, personalities, and that's why I asked them," Lees said.
Neither has responded to the invitation yet, Lees said Tuesday. A message left for Trump at his New York office wasn't immediately returned Tuesday.
