Other multiple homicides in Nevada:

-August 1998: Four Las Vegas men were robbed, bound with duct tape and executed in an apartment. Two of the three teen-agers charged said the four were killed because they might have retaliated for the robbery if allowed to live. Trials for the suspects are set for this summer.

-May 1998: Two teen-age boys in Battle Mountain shot three people - the parents and sister of one of the boys. Kyle Ray and Colby Becker, both 15 at the time, pleaded guilty in April to the killings of Ray's family. The boys will be sentenced later this month.

-February 1981: Eight people were killed and 198 injured in a fire at the Las Vegas Hilton started by a busboy, Philip Cline, who was convicted of eight counts of first-degree murder.

-November 1980: Priscilla Ford, the only woman on death row in Nevada, drove her Lincoln Continental into a crowded sidewalk in the heart of Reno's casino district on Thanksgiving Day, killing seven and injuring 21.

-April 1991: David Lee Greenwood shot his wife and her three children to death then killed himself in the family's pickup on an isolated dirt road by the Truckee River about 25 miles from Reno.

-May 1992: Two men and two women were killed in an apartment the night rioting broke out in Las Vegas and Los Angeles after the first Rodney King trial verdicts. Vernell Ray Evans was sentenced to death for the shootings.
