Jose Aguilar, 61, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1938, in Mexico. A resident for 11 years, he was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Mauricia; three sons, Ramon Aguilar, Jose Martin Aguilar and Manuel Minchaca; four daughters, Josefina Aguilar, Alicia Aguilar, Maria Del Refugio and Maria de los Angeles Maldonado; two brothers, Juan Aguilar and Evaristo Aguilar; and three sisters, Maria Aguilar, Ampara Guadalajara and Francisca Aguilar.
Services were scheduled at 9:30 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Shirley Mae Byrd
Shirley Mae Byrd, 64, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Feb. 11, 1935, in New Mexico. A resident for 11 years, she was a broker in the agriculture industry.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; three sons, John Byrd, Gene Byrd and Cole Towler; two daughters, Vicki Rutledge and Shannon Appledorn; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Rey Castro
Rey Castro, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 22, 1955, in Deming, N.M. A resident for 10 years, he was a warehouse supervisor.
He is survived by one son, Ryan Castro of San Diego; one daughter, Melia Castro, his mother, Delores Peterson, and two sisters, Bertha Covarrubias and Sylvia Kelly, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, John Castro of Burkburnett, Texas.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens.
Helen G. Clatch
Helen G. Clatch, 85, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born June 2, 1913, in Freeland, Pa. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker and a radio personality in the 1930s in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Clatch-Dill and Bernadine Hockenbury, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Louise Miller of Allentown, Pa., Marie Toccket of Sunbury, Pa., and Margaret Gallagher of Hazleton; two brothers, Jerome Citro of Summit Hill, Pa., and Al Citro of Denver.

Frank A. Gesualdo
Frank A. Gesualdo, 71, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Cleveland. A resident for 26 years, he was a retired tool and die maker in the aerospace industry and an Army veteran.
He is survived by four sons, Jerry M. Gesualdo, Dean A. Gesualdo, Leonard A. Gesualdo and Mario D. Gesualdo, and one daughter, Shirley Ann Maynard, all of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
Joseph B. Gould
Joseph B. Gould, 96, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 31, 1902, in Chicago. A resident for 57 years, he owned and operated an investment company and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Selena; one daughter, Carolyn Dirks of Los Angeles; one stepdaughter, Kimberly Spaulding, and one stepson, Todd Henderson, both of Las Vegas; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

John William Green
John William Green, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born April 23, 1931, in Romford, England. A resident for three years, he was a real estate appraiser for 30 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Lezlie Imus of Austin, Texas, Cary Burns of Anacortes, Wash., Meredith Green of London, Ontario, and Tricia Hava of Fallston, Md.; one stepson, Michel Fabrie of Baltimore; and one sister, Enid France of Crowborough, England.

Margarette D. Griffin
Margarette D. Griffin, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born March 18, 1924, in Bombay, N.Y. A resident for 15 years, she was a rental agent for two years at Cimarron Apartments.
She is survived by her husband, George E.; and three sisters, Jaque Billings of Tucson, Ariz., and Gladys Allen and Julie Deer, both of Massena, N.Y.

Julian Heredia
Julian Heredia, 37, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in North Las Vegas. He was born July 23, 1961, in Colima, Mexico. A resident for 18 years, he was a laborer in manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Leticia; two sons, D'Layne Heredia and Julian Omar Heredia, and one stepson, Alex Heredia, all of North Las Vegas; one brother, Jorge Heredia, and his mother, Alida Ochoa Heredia, both of Colima; three sisters, Concepcion Heredia and Patricia Heredia, both of Colima, and Guadalupe Heredia of Las Vegas; and his grandmother, Guadalupe Ochoa of Colima.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. James Catholic Church, 820 N. H St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Donald T. King
Donald T. King, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 26, 1935, in Dryden, N.Y. A resident for 22 years, he was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Clark County Housing Authority and a Korean War Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Suezan Blair King; two daughters, Jerri S. Moor of Miami and April Dawn Hoover of Las Vegas; one son, Edward Hoover of Las Vegas; one sister, Gloria Wheat of Elmira, N.Y.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John A. McDonald, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 5, 1933, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, he was a hotel maintenance engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; two sons, John McDonald of Las Vegas and Gregory McDonald of Dallas; one daughter, Joan McDonald of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Lenore Berlin of Traverse City, Mich., and Elaine Szatkowski of Feton, Mich.

Michael Dean Meyer
Michael Dean Meyer, 41, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 23, 1957, in Dubuque, Iowa. A resident for 29 years, he was a city electrician and a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Kevin John Meyer of Indian Springs; his mother, LaVon Meyer, and one sister, Michelle Rabold, both of Henderson; and three brothers, Bruce Meyer of Gig Harbor, Wash., Rich Meyer of Dubuque and Leo J. Meyer Jr. of Pembroke Pines, Fla.

Samuel Ollins, 81, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. He was born July 15, 1917, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired safety engineer for the state government.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna Ollins of Las Vegas; two sons, Richard Ollins of Las Vegas and Michael Ollins of Los Angeles; one brother, Harry Ollins of Florida; and one grandchild.

Joyce K. Pearce, 88, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 16, 1911, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.R.; and one daughter, Judy Carol Pearce.
She is survived by two daughters, Imogene Irby of Midland, Texas, and De Anna J. Stidham of Las Vegas; three sons, Jerry W. Pearce and Garland D. Pearce, both of Midland, and Charles G. Pearce of Flint, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Texas. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Fidel Romero
Fidel Romero, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born May 7, 1940, in New Mexico. A resident for 30 years, he was a time clerk in the gaming industry.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Josphine; two sons, Ben Romero of Henderson and Arthur Romero of Las Vegas; his mother, Delphina Foster of New Mexico; one brother, Richard Romero of Arizona; two sisters, Loyda Brooks of California and Lydia Romero of New Mexico; and six grandchildren.

Stewart 'Bruce' Schuyler
Stewart "Bruce" Schuyler, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1922, in Worland, Wyo. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired government civil service worker and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one daughter, Cherilyn Tiberi of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Karey Lee Sellon, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 4, 1952, in Colorado. A resident for one year, she was a legal secretary.
She is survived by one son, Kelly Helgestad of Las Vegas; her father, Deane Sellon, and one brother, Deane Sellon II, both of Fort Jones, Calif.; and three sisters, Barbara Shaw of Klamath Falls, Ore., Ronne Lindsay of Paisley, Ore., and Sabrina Helgestad of Las Vegas.

Lois E. 'Dean' Shuman, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Vidalia, Ga. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William L.; two daughters, Christy L. Gray of McDonough, Ga., and Tracey L. Shuman of Olympia, Wash.; one son, John W. Shuman of Las Vegas; four sisters, Conetha Kea, Eloise Hankins and Dorothy Pye, all of Vidalia, and Marie "Boots" Sikes of Cobbtown, Ga.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Peter A. Steele
Peter A. Steele, 39, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born May 14, 1960, in Moab, Utah. A resident for 36 years, he was a maintenance employee for the Department of Transportation and an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne M.; two daughters, Brittney Steele and Hannah Sandoval, three sons, Jese Steele, Michael Steele and Lucas Sandoval, and one brother, Percy Steele, all of Las Vegas; and one sister, Joni Mikulich of Lowell, Ore.

Robert F. Struble
Robert F. Struble, 74, of Henderson died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for six years, he was a construction supervisor and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen M.; one son, David Struble of Henderson; and one daughter, Diane Zimmerman of California.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until noon services Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Graveside services with an honor guard will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Robert James Trauger
Robert James Trauger, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1916, in Algona, Iowa. A resident for nine years, he was a retired Navy captain and pilot, a World War II and Korean War veteran, a member of the Retired Officers Association, a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a member of the USNA Alumni Association.
He is survived by his companion, Ruth Ann Rinquest, and one daughter, Evelyn Gail Davis, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Donald Trauger of Fairfax, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Richard H. Waller
Richard H. Waller, 68, of Caliente died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Ellensburg, Wash. A resident for 37 years, he was a retired electrical superintendent, a Korean War Air Force veteran, a member of the Elks in Boulder City and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Caliente.
He is survived by three daughters, Darnell Rowden of Olathe, Kan., Claudette Powell of Las Vegas and Richelle O'Driscoll of Reno; one son, Richard H. Waller of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
