Letter: Lawmakers ignore proven solutions to school violence

Lawmakers like Anderson and Titus continue to ignore proven solutions, such as: increased presence of law-abiding concealed weapons holders, the successful measures implemented in Israel in response to the unprecedented terrorist activity against school children there decades ago, or the Swiss model.

Anderson, Titus and their ilk just don't seem to understand that those bent on human slaughter will gravitate towards unarmed, easier targets, especially those they personally have mandated to be defenseless.

How these legislators live with themselves as they leisurely watch the nightly news' school victims frantically trying to find a cell phone (also banned on campus) to dial 911, and then patiently wait while under attack, is a mystery.
