Homeowners file home defects lawsuit

Tuesday, June 1, 1999 | 11:31 a.m.

A homebuilder was sued for negligence and breach of warranty by a Henderson homeowners association.

The Duck Creek Village Homeowners Association and three individual owners filed suit in District Court against Classic Development Corp., two company officers and a company formerly known as Paragon Construction.

Residents of 76 homes on Angler Circle and Duralite Street say their homes have miscellaneous architectural, mechanical, window and door, roofing and heating and air conditioning defects. The suit says damage is estimated at $50,000 per home -- $3.8 million for the entire neighborhood.

A representative of Classic Development could not be reached for comment.
