Grace Ardia

Grace Ardia, 84, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born March 3, 1915, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Albert; one sister, Candy DeMarco of Florida; and three brothers, Frank Viruet of Florida, William Viruet of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Paul Viruet of Holbrook, N.Y.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Kazimierz Czyzewski

Kazimierz Czyzewski, 71, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Poland. A resident for nine years, he was a retired electrical engineer for the federal government.

He is survived by his wife, Hilde; and one brother, Alec Czyzewski of Andover, England.

A vigil service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's. Burial will be Friday in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Sean Ryan Davis, 5, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Dec. 8, 1993, in San Diego.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Jennifer Davis Jr., and one brother, Michael Davis Jr., all of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Michael and Linda Davis of Las Vegas, Thomas Wall and Kathy Sarago, both of New York City.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Sunday in Vista Hospice Care, 1830 E. Sahara, Suite 102. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Phyllis Dunbar

Phyllis Dunbar, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born Dec. 6, 1933, in Chicago. A resident for 45 years, she was a retired entertainer.

She is survived by her son, David "Davyo" Thompson, and her ex-husband, Glen Thompson, both of Las Vegas.

Esther Eileen Elaban

Esther Eileen Elaban, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1936, in Hawaii. A resident for five years, she was a legal secretary.

She is survived by her companion, Dallas Maston; three sons, Evans, Lance and Lester; two daughters, Laura and Darlene; one brother, Sammy; four sisters, Connie, Frances, Priscilla and Rosie; and two grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Frances Garrett

Frances Garrett, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 27, 1920, in Las Vegas. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles.

She is survived by two sisters, Vivian Rogers of Las Vegas and Julia Souza of Hayward, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Betty Helen Grossman

Betty Helen Grossman, 73, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born April 7, 1926, in Perth Amboy, N.J. A resident for 10 years, she was a receptionist for a chiropractor's office.

She is survived by two daughters, Robin Levine and April Levine, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Ann Bilder, Maria Chubak, Helen LaVeccia and Rose Piatkowski, all of New Jersey; and one grandchild.

Deborah Anne Jazwinski

Deborah Anne Jazwinski, 47, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 12, 1952, in Reading, Pa. A resident for 26 years, she was a manager for the Las Vegas SPCA.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; one daughter, Laticia Dronsfield of Las Vegas; two sisters, Priscilla of Florida and Diane; and two brothers, Shane of Oregon and Michael of Wisconsin.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Lois E. Kiltz Lewis

Lois E. Kiltz Lewis, 68, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Wichita, Kan. A resident for one year, she was a retired executive secretary in the aerospace industry.

She is survived by her husband, Herman E.; one daughter, Barbara June Bosch of Olympia, Wash.; two brothers, Robert A. Kiltz of Vancouver, Wash., and Harvel E. Kiltz of Torrance, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

David G. McClelland

David G. McClelland, 66, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1932, in Derry Township, Pa. A resident for nine years, he was an operating engineer in the construction industry, a Korean War Army veteran, a member of Moose Lodge and a member of Operating Engineers Union for 30 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Wardle of Las Vegas and Frances Popp of Placentia, Calif.; two brothers, Thomas McClelland and Roy McClelland, both of Pennsylvania; three sisters, Delores Kostelnik and Saranna Spears, both of Pennsylvania and Luella Rhoades of Florida; and four grandchildren.

Richard Michael Nugent

Richard Michael Nugent, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 29, 1946, in New Hampshire. A resident for nine years, he was a teacher and an employee of Val-Pak since 1995.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Michael Nugent II and Benjamin Andrew Nugent; one daughter, Gabrielle Nugent; one brother, John Andrew Nugent II; three sisters, Patricia Dobiecki, Mary Nugent and Joan Nugent-Molloy; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m. until noon services Thursday at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Kenneth 'Chuck' Padgett

Kenneth 'Chuck' Padgett, 54, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born July 6, 1945, in Oklahoma. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired pit boss.

He is survived by one daughter, Theresa Padgett of Henderson; one sister, Terry Ann Smith of Oklahoma; one brother, Larry Smith of California; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Ronald Francis Payne

Ronald Francis Payne, 27, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born July 1, 1972, in Fort Myers, Fla. A resident for five years, he was a police officer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marion C.; his parents, Gerald and Kimberly Payne, one brother, Jeremy Payne, one sister, Kelli Wilson, one niece, Courtney Wilson, and his grandmother, Edith Payne, all of Fort Myers.

Charles J. Sicuso

Charles J. Sicuso, 67, of North Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1931, in Boston. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired cafe owner-operator, an Army veteran and the second kidney transplant recipient in Las Vegas in 1989.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; one son, Christopher Sicuso of Las Vegas; two sisters, Frances Sicuso and Josephine Sicuso, both of Medford, Ore.; two brothers, Joseph Sicuso of Everett, Mass., and Sam Sicuso of Hudson, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Martin Squires

Martin Squires, 74, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 30, 1924, in Springfield, Mass. A resident for 44 years, he owned M&S Air Conditioning, was a World War II Army veteran, a member of Society of Refrigeration Service Engineers and Southern Nevada Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal Contractors Association.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; one daughter, Carole Squires of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 4400 W. Oakey Blvd. Burial will be private. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Galina Sylantiev

Galina Sylantiev, 33, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born March 5, 1966, in Moidova, Russia. A resident for four years, she was a saleswoman for E-Z Com Beepers.

She is survived by her fiance, Luis Reyes, and two daughters, Marina Sylantiev and Katie Sylantiev, all of Las Vegas; and her parents, Vasily and Marina Osipov, and one brother, Oleg Osipov, all of Russia.

Graveside services were 1 p.m. today in Paradise Memorial Gardens. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, handled arrangements.

Nancy J. Winger

Nancy J. Winger, 64, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Detroit. A resident for 13 years, she was a retired insurance agent.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas M.; two daughters, Kathy Neel of Fishers, Ind., and Karen Winger of Bellevue, Wash.; one son, Thomas M. Winget II of Tucson, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
