A Santa Monica, Calif., commercial film production company merged with a Las Vegas company.
Creative Chaos joined with Laguna Productions Inc. of Las Vegas. Terms of the deal were not announced.
The company, to retain the Laguna Productions name, will keep offices in Las Vegas and Santa Monica with a total of 15 employees. No layoffs resulted in the merger, which will allow coordination of projects in Las Vegas and Hollywood.
The companies have teamed on projects in the past. Both produce commercials and film documentaries.
Creative Chaos has produced commercials for Station Casinos, the Rio, Monte Carlo and Main Street Station hotel-casinos, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and National Airlines. Laguna's client list has included the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Sunrise Hospital, the Nevada Dance Theatre and Kenny Guinn's successful gubernatorial campaign.
Laguna will be headed by Doug Momary and executive producer Joanne Ross. Adam Bleibtreu, who founded Creative Chaos, also will stay with the company.
