Professor receives arms control fellowship

RENO, Nev. - A mathematics professor at the University of Nevada, Reno has been awarded a prestigious arms-control fellowship in Washington D.C.
Chaitan Gupta, 60, will serve the one-year fellowship with the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, a branch of the State Department.
Gupta is an expert in mathematical modeling. He is one of six people from across the country selected for the program.
