A fire near Lockwood east of Reno consumed about 15,500 acres before being contained Sunday and declared under control Monday.
Officials said the blaze that broke out Friday afternoon was human caused, though the exact cause remained under investigation.
Firefighters also conquered a 15,000-acre blaze near Fallon that was touched off Thursday by Navy bombers dropping ordnance on a training mission.
No structures were threatened but several $1 million Navy communications sites were in the area.
A third fire in the northeast corner of the state was controlled late Sunday after burning more than 32,000 acres of rangeland along the Nevada-Utah border.
