Bank robbed in Henderson
A robber wearing a mask and gloves entered the branch at 641 Mall Ring Circle just after it opened at 8 a.m. and brandished a revolver. He handcuffed at least two employees and took them to a back area of the building, Henderson Police Lt. Jutta Chambers said. The employees were not injured, she said.

LOS ANGELES -- House of Blues Entertainment said Monday it is buying Universal's live-music unit for $190 million, acquiring a promotion business that includes 20 concert sites.

Bernice Marie Beggs, 59, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1939, in Florence, Ore. A resident for 23 years, she was a retired licensed practical nurse and a 1974 valedictorian at the Reno School of Medicine.
California fugitive arrested after leading cops on chase
