Letter: Here is support for godly nation

* The Mayflower Compact states "In the name of God, amen. We whose names are underwritten ... Having undertaken, for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith ..."

* Psalm 35 was studied during our 1st Continental Congress before they began writing the Constitution.

* George Washington was aware of the hand of God in establishing and preserving the new nation, and acknowledged the responsibility of the nation and its leaders to act only under the overruling authority of God.

"We the People" have lost our forefathers' vision. We are no longer the great nation we once were, except we are No. 1 in homosexuality, militant feminism, divorce, destruction of family values, abortion, political correctness and the occult of new age religion.

Is that something to be proud of?
