Southwest Gas Corp. of Las Vegas said Wednesday it expects to beat analyst expectations of its second quarter financial performance.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Southwest projected that its net loss will be about one-third the consensus analyst estimate.
Southwest attributed the stronger earnings to colder-than-normal weather in April and May.
