Letter: JFK Jr.’s death saddens a nation

John F. Kennedy Jr.'s life was exceptional. Adopted by a nation years back, we accepted him unconditionally. We wanted John to have a better life. It's ironic he will unify all of us on this day.
Our hearts are heavy once again.
