Harold Edwin Anderson
Harold Edwin Anderson, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. He was born March 4, 1909, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for 36 years, he was a self-employed woodworker.
He is survived by three sons, Harold D. Anderson of Las Vegas, Robert A. Anderson of Montclair, Calif., and Roger L. Anderson of Vancouver, Wash.; 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Manuel Burciaga
Manuel Burciaga, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. A resident for several years, he was born Dec. 20, 1963, in California.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Verdugo, one daughter, Angela Burciaga, his mother, Benita Flores, three sisters, Yolanda Speer, Gloria Brown and Adela Rodriguez, and one brother, Feliciano Carrillo, all of Las Vegas; six nephews and six great-nephews.
Visitation will be 3-6:30 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. rosary in Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 5485 E. Charleston Blvd. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
David Mejica Dumagat
David Mejica Dumagat, 56, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 26, 1943, in the Philippines. A resident for 10 years, he was a security officer in the gaming industry.
He is survived by his wife, Elia; three daughters, Lourdes McCreery, Minda Harris and Hannah Liza Dumagat; one brother, Manuel Dumagat; three sisters, Leticia Tenerife, Lucina Carmona and Linda Celeste; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Pahrump Community Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Pauline Gleason
Pauline Gleason, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born March 29, 1942, in Jackson, Miss. A resident for 12 years, she was a medical technician.
She is survived by her husband, John T. Gleason of Las Vegas.

John Goddard
John Goddard, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Canada. A resident for 11 years, he was a pipe fitter.
He is survived by one son, Dennis Goddard, and one daughter, Sandra Hunter, both of Canada.
No local services are scheduled. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Barbara A. Havener
Barbara A. Havener, 61, of Boulder City died Sunday in Boulder City. She was born Sept. 13, 1937, in St. Louis. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph H.; two sons, Russell H. Teer and Robert H. Teer, both of Boulder City; two sisters, Patsy Menard of Clovis, Calif., and Mary Ann Brown of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Ray Johnson of Buckner, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
Alexander B. Heim
Alexander B. Heim, 95, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 25, 1904, in Russia. A resident for nine years, he was a retired gas dispatcher.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; three daughters, Jeannette Haggerty, Joanne Davis and Christine Hopple, all of California; six sons, Bernard of Henderson, Ronald, John and Mike, all of California, Noel of Arizona and Alex of Montana; three sisters, Catherine Cobb, Elizabeth Coyne and Barbara Walk; 36 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Russell B. Holifield
Russell B. Holifield, 39, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 2, 1960, in California. A resident for three years, he was a self-employed musician.
He is survived by his father, Allen Heinz; his mother, Carolyn Garcia; one brother, Charles Garcia; and one sister, Beverli Sumrall.

Richard Eugene Huffman
Richard Eugene Huffman, 66, of Las Vegas died July 9 in a local health care center. He was born Dec. 31, 1932, in Kansas. A resident for 13 years, he was a marketing analyst and volunteer coordinator with Community College of Southern Nevada, a member of the National Rifle Association, Friends of Channel 10, Singles Travel Club and Fun Timers.
He is survived by two brothers, George "Bill" Huffman of Maize, Kan., and Allen Huffman of Yuba City, Calif.; and one sister, Joy Cushman of El Dorado, Kan.
Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.
Harry A. Kelly
Harry A. Kelly, 71, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1927, in Wyoming. A resident for 56 years, he was a real estate salesman and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Greg Kelly of Reno and Kevin Kelly of Gresham, Ore.; three daughters, Nancy Knox and Colleen Thomas, both of Las Vegas, and Becky Campbell of Wheelersburg, Ohio; one sister, Betty David; and seven grandchildren.

George R. Leon
George R. Leon, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1924, in Ancta, N.D. A resident for 57 years, he was a retired hardware store owner-operator, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of American Legion Post 8 for 48 years, Eagles Lodge 1006 for 30 years and the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; one son, Richard Leon of Lahaina, Hawaii; one sister, Gina Tolles of Minneapolis; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Viola L. Lombardi
Viola L. Lombardi, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Oct. 3, 1929, in Dearborn, Mich. A resident for 20 years, she was cab driver.
She is survived by her companion, Frances White, and her stepfather, Donald Boyer, both of Las Vegas.
Visitation will continue until 5 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Carl A. Moore
Carl A. Moore, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 8, 1928, in East Salem, Pa. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired government supply specialist, a World War II Army veteran, who served in Northern France and Central Europe and participated in the Normandy invasion, and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by three daughters, Penny Mischel of Thousand Palms, Calif., and Jacque Shebansky and Sharon Brown, both of Las Vegas; three sons, George Floyd and Robert Floyd, both of Las Vegas, and David Floyd of Lancaster, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Joseph Eugene Paul
Joseph Eugene Paul, 72, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 12, 1926, in Detroit. A resident for 31 years, he was a dishwasher at Bally's hotel-casino.
He is survived by one sister, Elsie Teeter; and one nephew, William Teeter.

Carmen Vargas Powell
Carmen Vargas Powell, 74, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. She was born April 3, 1925, in New York. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; and one brother, Michael Vargas of Wantagh, N.Y.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Frederick J. 'Fritz' Schreur
Frederick J. "Fritz" Schreur, 67, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born May 23, 1932, in Minnesota. A resident for 35 years, he was a Metro Police officer, an Army veteran, a member of Masons Daylite 44, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, Zelzah Shrine Temple, Police Protective Association and American Legion Police Post 55.
He is survived his wife, Irene; three sons, Michael Schreur, Steven Schreur and Brian Schreur; two brothers, Eugene Schreur of Safford, Ariz., and Marvin Schreur of Milaca, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, 6500 W. Flamingo Road. Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.
Farzin Sheibani
Farzin Sheibani, 46, of Las Vegas died July 7 in Las Vegas. He was born in Tehran, Iran. A resident for three months, he was a retail sales clerk.
He is survived by two sisters, Nahid McCormick of California and Parvin Shaybany of Maryland.

Roy F. Smith
Roy F. Smith, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local care center. He was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Illinois. A resident for 24 years, he was self-employed.
He is survived by his wife, Flora; one son, Ronald Smith of Asheville, N.C.; two daughters, Jan O'Hara of Las Vegas and Carol Van Burger of Santa Monica, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Terrance George Torday Sr.
Terrance George Torday Sr., 56, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 26, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio. A resident for five years, he was a warehouseman food distributor, a Vietnam War Navy Seals veteran, an employee for 20 years with Good Humor/Breyers and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Basic Post 3848 in Henderson.
He is survived by his companion, Caroline P. Musslewhite of Las Vegas; four daughters, Judy Garcia, Rita Krupp and Theresa Torday, all of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and Sandra Hammon of Buena Park, Calif.; one son, Terrance Torday Jr. of South Lake Tahoe; one sister, Carol A. Patterson of Porter, Texas; and 19 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Sidney Veltman Wolfe, 92, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born June 7, 1907, in Westfield, N.D. A resident for three years, he was a retired oral surgeon.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Wolfe of Las Vegas; and four brothers, Will Wolf of Strasburg, N.D., Arthur Wolf of Centralia, Wash., Garris Wolfe of Pendleton, Ore., and Merrill Wolfe of Canby, Ore.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association.
Louis Zimmerman
Louis Zimmerman, 76, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 1, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired car business owner-operator and a World War II Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen; one daughter, Donna Rubell of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; two sons, Barry Zimmerman of Las Vegas and Lee Zimmerman of Malibu, Calif.; two brothers, Jerry Zimmerman of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Morris Zimmerman of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Morris Zimmerman of New York; and five grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
