The Ubandos wedding

The maid of honor was Michelle Felix; the bridesmaids were Sunny Arakawa, Cheryl Martinez, Valerie Viado, Jenny Dacoco and Shelly Matsuyama. The best man was Kyle Nakagawa. The groomsmen were Joseph Ubando Sr., Jesse Ubando, Nicker Kemmler, Darin Maedo and Jason Aqui. The flower girl was Ku'uipo Savelio and the ring bearer was Joseph Bo Ubando, Jr. Also in attendance were the groom's parents, Earl and Brenda Matsuyama, of Kona, Hawaii.

Julie is a 1997 UNLV graduate and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She is a residential director who works with children with disabilities.

Darrel is a 1996 UNLV graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. He is employed as a teacher with Clark County School District.
