Tuzla - French-bred terror returns, in the quinella 13 of 17 lifetime starts with 10 victories, 4-for-5 at this trip, 4-for-4 on Hollypark lawn, training well with solid works, Canani trainee reunites with Nakatani for return, deserves top billing.

Isle de France - New shooter for top pick, won last pair of outings with solid performances over this course, in the quinella 8 of 10 lifetime starts with 5 victories and in all 4 starts at this trip with a pair of wins, McCarron/McAnally team.

Value Play -- Vyatka

3RD RACE

Kaitlyn's Memo - 1st time starter by Memo, solid Hollypark works with most recent move a bullet drill from the gate on the 14th, inner post draw means prompt start neccessary, trainer Hendricks calls Solis for debut.

Take A Memo - Another 1st time starter by Memo, another with solid Hollypark works with a pair of bullet drills back in March, opposite of top pick with outside draw but still needs quick break from blocks, Stute tabs Puglisi for debut.

Value Play -- Radix Alis

4TH RACE

Connectis - Stalked, loomed up, waited and 4th at a mile over this course in last, awkward start and runner up on same while claimed at this level before that, winless at this trip and course, but this is good spot to break streak.

Go Falon - If not for outside post disadvantage this would be top pick, made up 10 lengths at this trip to win last, in the quinella 5 of 15 turf starts with a trio of victories, Black back, not without square chance to repeat here.

Value Play -- Know That Song

5TH RACE

Roman Cuzzin - Away from races for 16 months, in the quinella half of 20 starts on fast dirt tracks with 7 of 8 career victories, 3-for-8 at this distance, Espinoza returns, proven winner off the shelf, working well, take the fresh face.

Wolfhunt - Dueled lead and weakened at higher level while claimed in last, won at this level and distance before that, new trainer Shulman drops him to competitive price off the claim, Puglisi takes over on beaten favorite for money run.

Value Play -- Tiz the Whiz

6TH RACE

Petting Slew - Won at these conditions at longer trip over this course in last, broke maiden by 10 lengths at Golden Gate before that, Dominguez trainee keeps improving, Solis back for repeat attempt, post is only concern here.

Blossom Bound - Rallied from 10th-place to finish 3rd in last, in the quinella half of 6 starts at this distance on turf with a victory, Espinoza got to know her in last, obscure low percentage trainer a concern, good inside post though.

Value Play -- Lac Tahoe

7TH RACE

Bold Capital - Definate "horse-for-course", sitting on a three-race Hollypark win streak, in the quinella 13 of 21 Hollypark starts with 11 of 14 career victories and 6 of 11 at this distance with 4 wins, rail post a concern, but take Mr. Hollypark right back.

Hot Wire - No rally from 11 month layoff in last, has been overmatched ever since 1997 debut maiden breaking corker opening day at Del Mar, solid worktab continues, Flores now on Baffert trainee, respect connections here.

Value Play -- Your Halo

8TH RACE

Excellent Meeting - Won Grade II Princess Stakes in return to races with gutty effort in last, in the quinella 11 of 12 starts with 8 victories against own gender in her career, 3-for-5 at Hollypark, the one to beat, bounce only concern.

Dianehill - Pressed pace and willingly held close 3rd against top pick in last, in the quinella 4 of 6 lifetime starts with a pair of victories, promising filly certain to make the running again, Solis stays, a factor throughout.

Value Play -- Colorado Song

9TH RACE

Showgun - Dueled lead, cleared, then weakened while splitting the field first time routing off 2-month freshening in last, has shown early foot while sprinting in previous outings, Ramsammy stays, had race, could be ready to graduate now.

Mr Mortgage Man - Wide throughout and outrun first time at two-turns mid-February in last, 3rd at higher level claiming ranks sprinting before that, four works since raced, significant drop in class for return, Valdivia now, may be Mr Diploma Man?
