Matilda 'Tillie' Carron, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born March 2, 1906, in Anaconda, Mont. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Gloria Foard of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Robert Michael Cross
Robert Michael Cross, 48, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 26, 1950, in Illinois. A resident for two years, he was a salesman.
He is survived by one son, Robert M. Cross; one daughter, Dianne Cross; three brothers, John W. Cross Jr., Daniel Cross and Gregory Cross; and five sisters, Jeannette Kunstmann, Barbara Drake, Celeste Fox, Catherine Jones and Laura Carchedi.
No local services are scheduled. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Betty Jean Culley
Betty Jean Culley, 68, of Pahrump died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 3, 1931, in Grand Island, Neb. A former Las Vegas resident for 30 years and most recently a resident of Pahrump for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald L.; three daughters, Sandra Culley and Cheryl Culley-Reynolds, both of Sandy Valley and Debbi Scott of Lincoln City, Ore.; her stepmother, Dorothy Worrell of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Dolores Foster and Patty Ann Boofer, both of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mary Haskins of Boise; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Robert Desmond
Robert Desmond, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 10 years, he was a hotel manager.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, Allan Desmond of Tacoma, Wash.; and one daughter, Desmona Desmond of Las Vegas.

Mary I. Hansen
Mary I. Hansen, 44, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 17, 1954, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 15 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Skip; her mother, Jean Jambrowski, and one sister, Teresa Bradley, both of Plymouth, Pa.; and one brother, Frank Jambrowski Jr. of Danville, Pa.

Bruce C. Lane
Bruce C. Lane, 39, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 29, 1959, in Tulare, Calif. A resident for 20 years, he was a display person for a beverage company and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his father, Bill C. Lane of Las Vegas; and one brother, Michael S. Lane of Pensacola, Fla.

Patricia Fay Logan
Patricia Fay Logan, 61, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 12, 1937, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 59 years, she was a self-employed electrical contractor.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin; three daughters, Kathryn Stout and Susan Colby, both of Las Vegas and Elizabeth Lenderman of Tacoma, Wash.; one son, Bradley Logan of Henderson; one sister, Joyce Glines of Oregon; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the LDS Church at Arville St. and Penwood Ave. Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Velma Lungwitz
Velma Lungwitz, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born May 13, 1922, in Des Moines, Iowa. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Schultz of Las Vegas and Mary Clark of East Sound, Wash.; two brothers, Larry Snyder of Las Vegas and Henry Snyder of Seattle; three sisters, Grace Tiller of Las Vegas, Donna Clark of Des Moines, Iowa, and Helen Snyder of Seattle; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be noon Tuesday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Katherine S. Mack
Katherine S. Mack, 81, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Ohio. A resident for many years, she was a press operator for an automobile wiring manufacturer.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Kistler of Henderson.

M.E. McGlamery
M.E. McGlamery, 85, of Dallas, died Wednesday in Dallas. He was born Oct. 18, 1913, in Hopkins County, Texas. A former Las Vegas resident in the early 1970s, he was a minister who served for more than 50 years. He was director of missions for the Southern Nevada Baptist Association and most recently was Pastor Emeritus of Hampton Place Baptist Church in Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita; three daughters, Sarah Grantham of Dallas and Judy Thompson and Susan Dudley, both of Duncanville, Texas; three sisters, Lillian Yarbrough of Terrell, Texas, Lorene Shoemaker of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Katherine Spivey of Denver City, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Laurel Land Funeral Home, Dallas, is handling arrangements.
Delores Penniman
Delores Penniman, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Minneapolis. A resident for 25 years, she was a retired restaurant waitress.
She is survived by two sons, Dean Penniman of Henderson and Robert Penniman of Minneapolis; one daughter, Joyce Ploen of Henderson; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.
Leah Christine Phillips
Leah Christine Phillips, 35, of Big Stone Gap, Va., died July 7 in Big Stone Gap. She was born Dec. 20, 1963, in Las Vegas. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a medical biller, a member of the Delta College Honor Society, the German Club and the Daughters of the American Revolution, enjoyed reading, church and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Terry; two daughters, Tiffany Morrel Phillips and Sommre Nicole Phillips, and one son, Terry Keith Phillips II, all of Virginia; her parents, Wilbur and Rosemary Slover, and two sisters, April Sparks and Martha Slover, all of Livermore, Calif.; two brothers, Roy Sparks III of Livermore and Lawrence Sparks of Montiga, Calif.
No local services are scheduled. Callaghan Mortuary, Livermore, is handling arrangements.
Joseph S. Svitko
Joseph S. Svitko, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Whiting, Ind. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired steel worker, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by one daughter, Susan Svitko, and one son, Carl Svitko, both of Las Vegas; and one sister, Mary Pupswiez of Indiana.
Visitation is scheduled noon-2:30 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
