Resort at Summerlin officials said it was unclear whether the property will open tonight.
A spokeswoman said emergency light tests were completed Wednesday and there were still some inspections remaining this morning for the $276 million resort. If the tests are successfully completed, the resort will open tonight at 11 p.m.
The property at Summerlin Parkway and Rampart Boulevard has had several delays.
The resort consists of two six-story Regent International Hotels. The 286-room Regent Grand Spa, the hotel's Ceres restaurant, a 50,000-square-foot casino and a 600-seat upscale buffet will be part of the initial opening.
Opening later in the summer will be the 255-room Regent Grand Palms hotel, several other restaurants and shops and a 40,000-square-foot spa.
