Help children fulfill dreams at camp

Amy's mother has been very ill and spent quite a bit of time in the hospital. Because of this and the fact that she is a single mother, she doesn't have the financial means to support Amy's interests such as dance class and camp.

Yet Amy really wants to go to camp. The program gives children time with other children and teaches them how to get along, Amy said in a letter.

By sending donations to the Las Vegas Sun summer camp fund, children like Amy would have the opportunity to attend summer camp and make friends.

The Sun will be accepting camp applications until Saturday. Extra slots are open for boys.
