Public invited to review Red Rock Canyon plan

The public is welcome to review the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock Canyon General Plan at four open houses scheduled this month.
Open houses at BLM's Las Vegas Field Office at 4765 W. Vegas Drive are scheduled today from 1 to 4 p.m.; Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. An additional open house will be hosted at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
The plan discusses the management of riparian areas and springs, wild horses and burros, vegetation, wildlife, rock climbing and other issues.
