National Airlines of Las Vegas said it will today begin accepting online reservations through its Internet site, nationalairlines.com.

"National Online," the company's reservations site, offers customers the ability to choose their seat assignment in addition to providing standard information such as flight schedules and fares.

National Airlines' frequent flyer members booking their National Airlines flights online will receive a 25 percent bonus toward their frequent flyer accounts.

"As we move forward, we plan to add more functionality to the Web site including the ability to make vacation package purchases online," said Tim Stanley, National's vice president of information systems.

National operates nonstop service from Las Vegas to Chicago Midway, Los Angeles, New York JFK and San Francisco; and next month adds service to Dallas-Ft. Worth.
