Dean Roofing, one of Las Vegas' largest residential roofing subcontractors, signed a four-year contract with a local chapter of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers, the union said.
The union said the deal provides medical and retirement benefits for Dean's 60 workers. Officials at Dean could not be reached for comment on the union announcement.
The Dean deal follows a similar deal with the union and the city's largest residential roofing subcontractor, Willis Roofing.
"Dean workers will now be able to work hard without worrying what will happen in the case of a medical emergency, and with greater security regarding their retirement," said John Martini, union executive vice president.
Membership in the union Local 162 has grown from 80 to more than 750 in the past two years and it says it now has the majority of roofing work in the Las Vegas market under contract.
