Architects, Poor
Summerlin Library, 1771 Inner Circle Drive, presents the photographic prints from the American Institute of Architects 1999 competition Thursday through Sept. 12. Call 256-5111.

Mediums explored
The Contemporary Arts Collective, at the Arts Factory, 103 E. Charleston Blvd., has devoted a new gallery space to the display of Contemporary Fine Art photography. Its first show, "Hortt, Morgan, Stolz," is on exhibit through Aug. 29. Call 382-3886.

Workshops, auditions
The Off Broadway Theater Actors Workshop trains students in theater, film and television. Adult classes are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mondays and 2-4 p.m. Wednesdays. Children's classes are from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturdays. Call 737-0611.
Casting director Nancy Lee Romanico will share information needed to develop skills and explain what casting directors look for from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at Charleston Heights Art Center, 800 S. Brush St. Admission is free. Call 226-5620.
Seventeen magazine, FOX television and Planet Hollywood will hold a walk-in casting call from 8 a.m.-noon at Planet Hollywood in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace Tuesday to find amateur male and female trophy presenters for the network's upcoming 1999 Teen Choice Awards. Contestants should bring a blank VHS tape to the audition. Videotapes of themselves explaining why they would make a good trophy presenter can be sent by July 19 to: Seventeen and FOX "Claim to Fame" Contest, 850 Third Ave., New York, NY 10022.
The Off Broadway Theater, 900 E. Karen Ave., will hold an open audition for its 1999-2000 season. Plays will include "Moon Over Buffalo," "Convertible Girl," "Rumors" and"Ping Pong." Roles are available for men and women ages 20-60. Auditions will be at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. Sunday. Call 737-0611.
The Blue Man Group will hold auditions at the Luxor Theater, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-noon July 16. Call (212) 849-2799.
Singers take note
Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society is auditioning singers for its 37th season. Rehearsals are from 7-9:30 p.m. Sundays at UNLV's Alta Ham Fine Arts Building, Room 147, beginning Aug. 29. Call 451-6672.
