Reno police investigate possible murder-suicide

Jennifer L. Ortega, 27, and Jose Macias, 22, had been living together in the trailer. They broke up about a week ago, Deputy Police Chief Jim Weston said.
Both died from stab wounds.
"The victims stabbed themselves - either mutually stabbed themselves or one stabbed the other and then stabbed herself," Weston told KOH Radio.
"It looks like murder suicide. It's just not quite clear yet," he said.
Police found the bodies in the bathroom of the trailer about 9:20 p.m. Thursday at the Mobil Manor Trailer Park, 2885 Kietzke Lane.
Weston said there was a considerable amount of blood in the room.
"Interviews with neighbors indicated that a violent argument had occurred during the evening hours of July 4," police said.
