1ST RACE: Waypoint - Steady handling to win sprint at this level late-May in last, runner-up at higher level before that, in the quinella half of 8 lifetime starts with a pair of victories, needs clean trip from rail post. Wild Card - Held gamely to break maiden at this trip and track in last, 6-wide runner-up before that, Solis stays for trainer Dominguez, rounding into nice runner, chance to win right back. Value Play -- Danzig Commander
2ND RACE:
Fabulous Dragon - 3-wide, led and caught late when close runner-up in last, vast improvement from debut outing before that, continues working at training center, hustling Pedroza returns, Dragon set to slay this field. Richard's Love - Finished 3rd after dueling lead and weakening then placed 2nd through disqualification in last, distant runner-up before that, most recent pair of outings for a tag best career efforts, fits here. Value Play -- Saklad
3RD RACE:
T.K.'s Bert - Returns to races with solid worktab that include most recent bullet drill on the 6th, drops to claimer for comeback, broke maiden sprinting at first asking, Flores/Baffert team, should come back running. Baja Gold - Just held on for gate-to-wire victory in last, set pace and just missed when 2nd by a neck from rail post before that, all 3 career victories at this distance, another theft on agenda. Value Play -- Corwun
4TH RACE:
Shoe Crazy - 1st time starter by Frankly Perfect, swift works with a pair of solid gate drills from most recent trio of moves, good post, well placed, trainer Dominguez tabs Solis for debut. Deserina - 1st time starter by Danzig offspring, another with solid worktab, pair of nice gate moves and pair of nice 6-panels from most recent four drills, hustling bug boy Radke for debut. Value Play -- Slim Slice
5TH RACE:
Lord Cunningham - Pressed pace early while 3-wide and held distant 3rd sprinting in last, wore down foe late to break maiden sprinting before that, stretches out now, draws good inner post, Solis stays on McAnally trainee. Key to Success - Stalked and second best at this trip, track and conditions in last, switches trainers from Lukas to Bradshaw, broke maiden at this distance four races back, hustling hot Pedroza takes over. Value Play -- Cantbetouched
6TH RACE:
November Slew - 1st time starter by Seattle Slew, solid sharp worktab that includes pair of bullet drills from most recent five moves, trainer Bradshaw tabs Flores for debut, needs prompt start from rail post. Confound - 1st time starter by Capote who is by Seattle Slew, another with solid worktab, McCarron scales Mandella trainee for debut, get good post to stalk from, respect connections. Value Play -- Heavenly Lady
7TH RACE:
Chasetheragingwind - Pressed pace and weakened at a mile on the lawn late-May in last, steady works since raced, broke maiden sprinting down the hill at Anita four races back, Espinoza now on Frankel trainee, good spot for action. Money in the Sheet - Dueled pace, got the lead and close runner-up at this trip first time on turf when in need of an outing in last, in the quinella half of 6 lifetime starts with a pair of victories, McCarron takes over on Gonzalez trainee. Value Play -- Torrey Pines
8TH RACE:
Quake - Huge solid comeback victory in last, showed promise as a sophomore last year, in the quinella 5 of 11 starts on fast dirt tracks with 3 of 4 lifetime victories, Pincay returns on Mandella trainee, has good foundation.
Smile Again - Returns to Southern California after runner up effort in Keeneland Grade III outing and most recent game 3rd in Pimlico grass stakes, won four prior starts at Anita, 2-for-3 at this trip, Flores takes over for comeback. Value Play -- Scooter Brown
9TH RACE:
Affirmed Miss - 1st time starter by Affirmed, steady solid Anita works with swift 6-panel drill on 6/28, sire has good record with turf starters, Solis tabbed by trainer Mandella for debut, prompt start at this trip a must for first timers. No Malo - Inside bid through the stretch for 2nd at this trip in last, wide rally while runner-up down the hill at Anita three races back, McCarron returns on West trainee, must overcome outside post. Value Play -- One Lively Lyph
