Mikohn Gaming Corp. of Las Vegas said it received an order valued at about $600,000 to install its CasinoLink casino management system at the Casino Municipale di Venezia under construction in Venice, Italy.
Installation of the system, which will centrally control the property's 471 slot machines, has begun with the opening scheduled later this summer.
"Strategically, this is a very important contract for Mikohn Europe because of Venice's key location in the heart of Italy in close proximity to Austria, France and other important markets," said Mikohn Chairman and Chief Executive David Thompson. "This represents our first CasinoLink contract in Italy."
