Camp can help kids develop social skills

One Las Vegas mother is hoping that a week of summer camp will open some doors for her 12-year-old son.
George and his sisters live with a friend of their mother's and he helps out around the house. Although he tries hard at school he still has some tough times, his mother said.
A chance to attend camp may help build the social skills he needs to participate in sports.
By donating to the Sun Camp Fund, boys like George will have a chance to meet positive role models and learn new skills.
Here are some recent donors to the Sun Camp Fund:
Mr. and Mrs. Phil Zasloff; NLV Memorial Auxiliary, VFW Post 10047; Sylvia Lampe Gross; Linda McPherson; Charles V. Kenerson; George and Eileen Brookman; Lavergne Uzarski; Jewel Brooks "In memory of Robert Brooks"; Sylvia Lampe Gross.
