Last year: Hale Irwin won at Riviera in Los Angeles, holing a 12-foot birdie putt on the final hole for a one-stroke victory over Argentina's Vicente Fernandez. Irwin, the seventh player to win the U.S. Open and U.S. Senior Open, shot 77-68-71-69 for a 1-over 285 total.

Last week: Christy O'Connor beat Bruce Fleisher by one stroke to win the State Farm Senior Classic.

Notes: Miller Barber (1984-85) and Gary Player (1987-88) are the only players to win consecutive U.S. Senior Opens. ... Irwin passed Jim Colbert for first place on the all-time Senior Tour money list. Irwin has earned over $8.5 million. ... Fleisher leads the season money list with over $1.3 million. Notes: Pak has won all three events in Ohio that she has entered in her career, including two straight Jamie Farr Kroger Classics. ...
