Arianna Vanessa Alvardo

Arianna Vanessa Alvardo, 6 weeks, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born May 23, 1999 in Las Vegas.

She is survived by her mother, Samantha Hopkins, and her father, Samuel Alvardo Jr., both of Henderson; and her two grandmothers, Teresa Hopkins of Henderson and Rosa Roscone of Phoenix.

Visitation will be two hours prior to 11 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Virginia S. Brann

Virginia S. Brann, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1946, in Cincinnati. A resident for two years, she was a data processing clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; two sons, Keith Parman and Paul Brann, and one daughter, Connie Brann, all of Las Vegas; her friend, Herm of Cincinnati; and two granddaughters, Jessica Brann of Las Vegas and Nicole Brann of Cambridge, New Zealand.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

Anthony Buscaglia

Anthony Buscaglia, 76, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 20 years, he was a tax preparer and a World War II Army veteran who was disabled during the war.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie M.; two sons, Bill Buscaglia of Middletown, N.J., and Robert Buscaglia of Brooklyn; one sister, Marie Luongo of Valparaiso, Ind.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Charlotte A. Eddy

Charlotte A. Eddy, 59, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Indiana. A resident for 30 years, she was a customer care representative for the telephone company and a member of the Business Women's Association.

She is survived by two daughters, Melony Wilson and Shari Johnson; her father, John Abel; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Jayden Tracy Eggleston

Jayden Tracy Eggleston, 1, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1998, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his parents, Todd and Rikki Eggleston, and two brothers, Jonathon Eggleston and Justin Eggleston, all of Las Vegas; and his two grandmothers, Carla McKendry of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Zane Eggleston of Anaheim, Calif.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Chapel, 7175 W. Oquendo Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Susana Galvan

Susana Galvan, 39, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born June 5, 1960, in Guadalajara, Mexico. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Bridget Murad, Delia Guadalupe Murad and Sonia Murad, two sons, Julio Galvan and Joshua Galvan, her parents, Jose and Guadalupe Galvan, and five brothers, Alfred Galvan, Jose Galvan, Marcos Galvan, Salvador Galvan and Carlos Galvan, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Leticia Galvan and Mercedez Garibay, both of Las Vegas, and Luz Maria Elizalde of Riverside, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today and noon until 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Dorothy Rose Gilbertson

Dorothy Rose Gilbertson, 67, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospice. She was born Sept. 26, 1931, in Minnesota. A resident for eight years, she was an accountant for a fuel company.

She is survived by one sister, Doris Mallet of Henderson.

Visitation will be 8-9 a.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will follow at 9:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Pauline Gordon

Pauline Gordon, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born July 5, 1920, in Russia. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Hank; one daughter, Cynthia Bass of Encino, Calif.; one sister, Miriam Brown of Canada; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Hilda B. Gorton

Hilda B. Gorton, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born May 15, 1913, in Hamilton, Ontario. A resident for three years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Charles T. Gorton Jr. of Las Vegas, William B. Gorton of Cathey's Valley, Calif., and Kenneth W. Gorton of Moon Township, Pa.; three daughters, Sylvia L. Smith of Las Vegas, Nancy L. Shirley of Milford, Conn., and Susan L. Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Friday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Su Tie Ko

Su Tie Ko, 85, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local health care center. She was born June 6, 1914, in Nanking, China. A resident for one year, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Kwan Kwan Chiang and Diane Chiang, both of Hong Kong, and Laiczee Chiang and Sharling Chiang, both of China; two sons, Charles Chiang of Petaluma, Calif., and David Chiang of Hong Kong; two sisters, Lok-Lam Leung of Toronto and Linda Mak of Melbourne, Australia; four brothers, Quat Kuan Ko, Quat Juan Ko and Quat Fan Ko, all of China and Quat Ket Ko of Hong Kong; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

William R. Mulcahey Sr.

William R. Mulcahey Sr., 63, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Jan. 7, 1936, in Reno. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired janitorial service owner-operator.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; one daughter, Star Sanchez of Las Vegas; four sons, William R. Mulcahey Jr. of Reno, John Mulcahey of Washington state, William M. Mulcahey of Las Vegas and Russell Mulcahey of Utah; one stepson, Loren Dunn of Las Vegas; one brother, Fisher Mulcahey of Reno; and one grandchild.

Roberta L. Morganstern

Roberta L. Morganstern, 71, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Stamford, Conn. A resident for three years, she was a retired assistant vice president in the banking industry.

She is survived by her husband, William C.; one son, Richard C. Morganstern of Salem, Ore.; one brother, William Waters of Noroton Heights, Conn.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Ronette M. Padua

Ronette M. Padua, 43, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born March 8, 1950, in Honolulu. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Roland; three sons, Rance Padua, Randon Padua and Randy Padua, all of Henderson; her father, Roy Hayashi, one brother, Ronald Hayashi, and one sister, Roseanna Sylvester, all of Honolulu; and one grandson.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Billy W. Perkins

Billy W. Perkins, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Texas. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired Circus-Circus poker dealer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Steven W. Perkins; and three grandchildren.

Rebecca A. Pina

Rebecca A. Pina, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 22, 1920, in Pharr, Texas. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Diane Ledo of Northridge, Calif., Dolly Danna of San Diego and Gloria Pina of Las Vegas; two sisters, Blanca Barrera and Estella Turner, both of Pharr; one brother, Louie Brewster of Fontana, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Curtis Jack Preston

Curtis Jack Preston, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 26, 1929, in Indiana. A resident for 35 years, he was an air conditioning repairman.

He is survived by his companion, Emma Garland of Las Vegas.

Graveside services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Anna Sylvia Reid

Anna Sylvia Reid, 75, of Las Vegas died June 30 in a local hospital. She was born March 14, 1924, in Arkansas. A resident for 45 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Everett Lones of Oregon and Danny Lones of Las Vegs; two daughters, Diane Lichtenberger and Sylvia Clegg, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Ray Poore, Roy Poore and Don Poore; one sister, Emma Moore; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Osman Sirin

Osman Sirin, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Turkey. A resident for 29 years, he was a chef, a member of the Moose Lodge and the Culinary Union.

He is survived by one daughter, Sylvia Sirin; and two sisters, both of Turkey.

Anna B. Talbot, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Waterbury, Conn. A resident for three years, she was a factory worker for a leather manufacturer.

She is survived by one sister, Alfina Elsden, and one niece, Joyce Racette, both of Las Vegas.

Gaylen Ray Talbot

Gaylen Ray Talbot, 33, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1965, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a Nevada Power company employee.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one daughter, Jessica Verry, and one son, Jordan Davey, both of Sterling, Colo.; two stepchildren, Tanna Sanders and Ty Sanders, both of Las Vegas; his father, Mike Talbot of Oklahoma; his mother, Pamela McDaniel of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Dorothy and Ray Camp of Salt Lake City and Lynn Talbot of Delta, Utah.
