Columnist Peter Benton: Valley grad Schlosser chooses Missouri

Peter Benton's golf column appears Wednesday.

Valley High School graduate Annie Schlosser, a standout with the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association, has signed a letter of intent to attend the University of Missouri.

Schlosser, a three-sport athlete, lettered for four years in golf, softball and soccer, earning all-conference and all-zone honors in golf for four years, and in soccer for three years.

She was the Sunrise Conference Player of the Year in 1999 for soccer and was voted Female Athlete of the Year for 1999 at Valley High.

Schlosser selected Missouri over Ohio State, the University of San Francisco, Denver University and the University of Colorado.
