Josephine G. Abing, 67, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Hawaii. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Bernabe Paglinanan Palisbo Jr. of Las Vegas and Ray Charles Abing; six daughters, Eve Palisbo Spinola, Bernadette Palisbo Quintal, Antoinette Bueno and Charmaine Abing Houghtailing, all of Las Vegas, and Evy Palisbo Torres and Sharon Omalza, both of Hawaii; four brothers, Maximo Lamoya, Loling Lamoya and Ane Gorion, all of Hawaii, and Roy Gorion of Las Vegas; two sisters, Connie Maglangit of Hawaii and Betty Salondaka of California; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow.
Isabel Vega Arrendale
Isabel Vega Arrendale, 82, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 22, 1916, in Nogales, Ariz. A resident for 35 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by four sons, Charles Arrendale and James Arrendale, both of Henderson, William Arrendale of Elizabeth, Colo., and Rene Arrendale of Castle Rock, Colo.; three daughters, Sylvia Ellison of Gilbert, Ariz., Patricia Townsend of Henderson and Roselinda Larson of Elk Grove, Calif.; two brothers, George Vega and Henry Vega, and one sister, Nellie Cooper, all of Prescott, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Beverly Anne Consalvi
Beverly Anne Consalvi, 65, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 4, 1933, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 27 years, she was a bookkeeper/accountant at Nevada General Insurance Co. for 24 years. Her family, friends and co-workers will miss her greatly.
She is survived by one son, Robert, and one daughter, Gloria Consalvi, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, George Kimball of Oregon.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. A private burial will follow.
Jeanette J. Ertel
Jeanette J. Ertel, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 7, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 22 years, she was a retired telephone operator.
She is survived by her husband, Gottfried; three daughters, Carolyn Ertel and Eileen Ertel, both of Las Vegas, and Loretta Swischer of Newell, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
Lillian B. Evans
Lillian B. Evans, 81, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 7, 1917, in Illinois. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Stallion Station Women's Club of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband, Howard "Hirsh" Evans of Las Vegas; one son, Mark Evans of Connecticut; one daughter, Karyn Evans of Washington state; one sister, Faye Dorfman of California; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
Albert 'Jerry' Gerstman
Albert "Jerry" Gerstman, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. He was born March 15, 1923, in Harrisburg, Pa. A resident for 5 1/2 years, he was a retired printing salesman and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; two daughters, Janice Keiserman of Las Vegas and Karen Gerstman of New York; one son, Larry Gerstman of New York; one sister, Etheljane Ruffman of Florida; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Patricia Grant
Patricia Grant, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 11, 1930, in Chicago. A resident for 29 years, she was a retired food server.
She is survived by three sons, Bob E. Kopp of Hawthorne Woods, Ill., Art Kopp of Libertyville, Ill., and Steve Kopp of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will be in Illinois.
Anna Heater
Anna Heater, 77, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in Winnemucca. She was born Feb. 17, 1921, in Kaiserslautern, Germany. A resident for 39 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by four sons, Harold Heater of Hawthorne, Robert Heater of Washington, D.C., Brian Heater of Winnemucca and Jim Heater of Golden, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 5 p.m. until a 7 p.m. service Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Cecil Lewis, 71, of Las Vegas died Dec. 19 in a local care center. He was born Feb. 28, 1927, in North Carolina. A resident for many years, he was an Army veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Donnie Lewis and Alex Lewis, both of North Carolina.

Jean D. Singer, 73, of Henderson died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born March 30, 1925, in New York. A resident for many years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Albert.

Alice R. Springer
Alice R. Springer, 80, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. She was born Oct. 7, 1918, in Mazatlan, Mexico. A resident for 2 1/2 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Springer, and one stepdaughter, Lea Kittleson, both of Boulder City; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Richard C. Taylor
Richard C. Taylor, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Colorado. A resident for 26 years, he was a heavy equipment mechanic, a World War II Navy veteran who served in Pearl Harbor and was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local 12.
He is survived by one son, Richard T. Taylor of Pahrump; three daughters, Sandra Bucher of Henderson, Karla Ann Garacoya of Ecuador and Margo Sweeney of Las Vegas; one sister, Myrtle Rempp of Hemet, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Donald Cameron Thissell
Donald Cameron Thissell, 69, of Las Vegas died Jan. 29 in Las Vegas. He was born April 28, 1929, in Texas. A resident for 14 years, he was a retail salesman and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, David Thissell of Las Vegas and Duane Thissell of Arizona; and two daughters, Diane Van Wey of Georgia and Debra Terry of Arizona.
Visitation is scheduled 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. An Honor Guard service and burial will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Clementine Leola Thompson
Clementine Leola Thompson, 94, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 15, 1904, in Nebraska. A resident for three years, she was a self-employed bookkeeper and a member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Bernard Thompson; one daughter, Floralee Amber Kress; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Viveiros, 56, of Henderson died Dec. 12 in Henderson. A restaurant delivery person, he was born April 12, 1942, in California.

Elizabeth Woods
Elizabeth Woods, 56, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born July 30, 1942, in Kansas. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Carrion of San Bernardino, Calif.; one son, Eric Laney of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Janice Reichardt of Henderson and Jill Valverde of Grand Terrace, Calif.; two brothers, Gordon Duncanson of Springfield, Ga., and Charles Duncanson of Phelan, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
