Lady Rebels rout Wyoming

UNLV had four players score in double figures including a game-high 25 points from freshman Linda Froehlich as the Lady Rebels defeated Wyoming 83-56 in a Western Athletic Conference women's basketball game Thursday at Laramie, Wyo.
UNLV shot 56.7 percent from the field in the first half, compared to UW's 39.3 percent and committed only six turnovers, compared to the Cowgirls' 12.
The Lady Rebels led by as many as 33 points in the second half en route to the victory. For the game UNLV shot 50.0 percent from the field to UW's 37.0. The Lady Rebels committed a season-low 13 turnovers, while the Cowgirls had 25. UNLV also led in the battle of steals recording 17 to UW's three.
Froehlich also led the Lady Rebels in rebounds with eight, while senior Amy Wunderlich scored 14 points, senior Liz Wolfe had 12 and senior Kristen Pool added 11.
UNLV's next game will be at No. 6 Colorado State on Saturday.
