Quarterly revenue was $39 million, up from $23.4 million a year earlier. The loss from continuing operations decreased to $1.2 million or 4 cents per share, from $1.5 million or 6 cents in the prior year.
The company's gaming subsidiary, slot maker WMS Gaming Inc., reported a 135 percent increase in quarterly revenues to $25.6 million. WMS said it has about 2,000 of its new Monopoly-themed slots installed or on order under revenue participation agreements with casinos.
"The casinos' earnings from the installed machines are extremely encouraging," WMS said.
