Red Rock schedule keeps hikers busy

More programs affording Southern Nevadans opportunities for staying healthy and learning more about the history of the area are scheduled through the remainder of the month at Red Rock Canyon.
All programs are free of charge, but reservations are required for all programs. Among the activities are:
Cactus Hill: Follow an old jeep trail along the Keystone Thrust trail Jan. 29.
Basic Map and Compass: Learn basic map reading and compass techniques Jan. 30. Supplies will be furnished.
Willow Springs Nature Walk: Explore the plants and animals on this 2-mile moderate hike Jan. 30.
