Pamela Allen, 52, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 21, 1946, in Pennsylvania. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, James Allen of Henderson and Damon Allen of Las Vegas; one brother, Richard Randall Agor of Palm Springs, Calif.; one uncle, Albin Pogorzelski; and her friend, Judy Burnis.
A private family visitation is scheduled for Friday. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Arvin Cearley
Arvin Cearley, 86, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born March 5, 1912, in Arkansas. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired Navy lieutenant commander and World War II and Korean War veteran who served 30 years in the military.
He is survived by four sisters, Eva Lee, Jewell Murders, Mildred Cash and Allie M. Garcia, all out of state.
Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Jan. 29 in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
Mae Curley
Mae Curley, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 8, 1908, in Sasser, Ga. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Robert Watts of Las Vegas; one sister, Bertha Lester of Portsmouth, Ohio; one brother, Elijah Lunsford of Middletown, Ohio; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.
David Lynn Driver
David Lynn Driver, 23, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 26, 1975, in Westminster, Calif. A resident for more than 16 years, he was a medical technician for Medicar Transportation.
He is survived by his parents, Mary Ann and Greg Nicholl of Las Vegas and Kenny Lynn and Dee Anne Driver of Big Bear City, Calif.; one brother, Matthew Nicholl of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Ernest Blaylock of Las Vegas and Shirley and Chet McCarl of Yucca Valley, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled 30 minutes prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Maxine Ehrhardt
Maxine Ehrhardt, 58, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born June 26, 1940, in Phelps County, Mo. A resident for three years, she was a paralegal at a law office and a member of the Poodle Club.
She is survived by two daughters, Carmen Englis and Jacque Greig, and one granddaughter, Allie Englis, all of St. Louis.

Cathy C. Marshall Ewing
Cathy C. Marshall Ewing, 59, of Las Vegas died Jan. 13 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 7, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 37 years, she was a hostess at the Sahara and Aladdin hotel-casinos.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Marshall, and one daughter, Sue Marshall, both of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Fran Russo and Rosemary Borelli, both of Chicago.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Life Center, 1000 E. St. Louis Ave. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
John R. Greer
John R. Greer, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1920, in New York. A resident for five years, he was a police detective and an Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, John Phillip Greer of Pennsylvania and James Greer of California.
Burial will be in Los Angeles. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
John Daniel 'J.D.' Haber
John Daniel "J.D." Haber, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Clinton, Okla. A resident for 45 years, he was an electrician and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie; one son, Robert Haber of St. Louis; and one sister, Viola Ormsbe of Albuquerque, N.M.

Myra Ezilda Hardy
Myra Ezilda Hardy, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. A laundry assistant in the health-care industry, she was born April 28, 1929, in Maine.
She is survived by six daughters, Gloria Veilleux, Vivian Blaisdell, Linnea Roy, Susan Bragg, Jo Hallisey and Tina Miller; and one son, Andrew Veilleux.

John Marechek
John Marechek, 75, of Las Vegas died Jan. 15 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1923, in St. Louis. A resident for 37 years, he was an Air Force master sergeant who retired at Nellis Air Force Base, a Korean War veteran and a retired employee of the city of Las Vegas Maintenance Department.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie; two sons, Phillip Marechek of Las Vegas and Paul Marechek of St. Louis; one daughter, Diane Burns of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.

Marquerite Cecile Mooney
Marquerite Cecile Mooney, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 21, 1933, in Vietnam. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by her husband, William; three sons, Christian Genet of Los Angeles and Gerald Mooney and Norman Mooney, both of Las Vegas; one daughter, Annie Mooney of Las Vegas; and one sister, Nguyen Ngoc Ky.
Services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1840 N. Bruce St. Burial followed in Woodlawn Cemetery. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, handled arrangements.
Nellie N. Rasmussen
Nellie N. Rasmussen, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born April 19, 1916, in Decatur, Ill. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired medical technician and a member of the American Society of Medical Technicians.
She is survived by her husband, John H.; one son, Merton D. Canady of Torrance, Calif.; one brother, Charles E. Potter, and three sisters, Betty Hunt, Dorothy Doyle and Lieta Fisher, all of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.
Eugene L. Sheridan
Eugene L. Sheridan, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. A sawman for an iron manufacturer, he was born Sept. 20, 1928, in Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mildred Sheridan of San Diego; one son, Matthew L. Sheridan of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Juanita Simpson of Pomona, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Dee Alison Smith, 58, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 28, 1940, in DuBois, Pa. A resident for 19 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert B.; three sons, J. Charles Piper of Detroit, Timothy A. Piper of Pittsburgh and David S. Piper of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Alison L. Piper of Reno; her parents, Louise A. and W. Charles Northey of DuBois; one brother, William Northey of Treasure Lake, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be in DuBois. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
Rosalyn S. Soffern
Rosalyn S. Soffern, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 11, 1926, in Pittsburgh. A resident for seven years, she was a retired saleswoman.
She is survived by her husband, Milton; one daughter, Rita Swanson of Las Vegas; two sisters, Esther Gottesman of Pittsburgh and Ann Pariser of Annapolis, Md.; two brothers, Bernard Wesoky of Cleveland and Norman Wesoky of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Gloria Dean Turner
Gloria Dean Turner, 53, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in North Las Vegas. She was born July 18, 1945, in Tallulah, La. A resident for 35 years, she was a bell captain.
She is survived by four sons, Roderick Turner, Demetrius Turner and Donnie Cobb, all of Las Vegas, and George Crooks of Atlanta; three sisters, Julia Goff, Lizeola Turner and Marilyn Williams, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Leon Turner of Denver and Rogers Turner of Hampton, Va.; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Zion Methodist Church, 2108 N. Revere St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Louis Zorio
Louis Zorio, 69, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born May 16, 1929, in Italy. A resident for 47 years, he was a retired process supervisor for a metal manufacturer, a Korean War Army veteran, a member of ATO College Fraternity and Black Mountain Country Club.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; one daughter, Gina Marie Allen of Henderson; one son, Charles Louis Zorio of Edmond, Okla.; one brother, Piero Zorio of Reno; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church, 204 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
