Sparks councilman to run for mayor

Armstrong, 53, who has served on the council since 1989, says his experience in city government makes him a good candidate to replace Mayor Bruce Breslow.
He announced his candidacy on Thursday.
Breslow earlier announced he will not seek a third term.
Longtime auto racer Brad Yuill has also announced his intent to seek the job.
