StumbleBLM extends public comment period

The public now has another 30 days, or until Feb. 15, to submit comments on the proposal that would impose restrictions on the use of the desert north of Reno.
The area under discussion covers about 452,000 acres.
The draft proposal includes a provision to limit the number of visitors, which would jeopardize the annual Burning Man Festival that draws thousands of people over Labor Day weekend.
