Amount of dams’ flows reduced again

The Bureau of Reclamation has begun reducing Colorado River flows from Hoover, Davis and Parker dams.
The bureau had increased flows in December, anticipating a wetter-than-normal winter.
But with 6 million acre-feet of space available in the Colorado River system, where only 5.35 million acre-feet is required by law, the bureau is reducing releases.
The bureau will evaluate the river's flow in February and readjust releases if necessary.
