Reid names new state director

Conelly has led Reid's Northern Nevada operations for the past six years. She will oversee all state operations and travel between Reid's offices in Carson City, Reno and Las Vegas.

Reid, D-Nev., previously did not have a state director.

The senator also said Theresa Duke, a former director at Columbia Sunrise MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, will serve as his Southern Nevada regional manager. Don Wilson has been promoted to deputy regional manager for Southern Nevada.

June Schmidt will be promoted to deputy regional manager for Northern Nevada. The Carson City office will continue to be staffed by regional representative Karen Denio.
