1ST RACE:

Dreaming Again - Caught stride late while sprinting when in need of a race in last, won routing at Hastings Park bullring before that, stretches back out, had tightener, Delahoussaye stays, take the new face.

McKay - 4-wide 2nd in last, dueled, led and caught on the wire while close runner up before that, in the quinella 6 of 15 lifetime starts with a pair of victories, Valdivia takes over on beaten West-trained favorite.

Value Play -- Stewardi Can

2ND RACE:

Big Bad Buddy - 4-wide 4th in last, finished well while 2nd by a head before that, bullet Fairplex drills since raced, stretches out and gets good rail post here.

Welo - Even run while 4th first time routing in last, 5-wide runner up before that, recent bullet drill on the 6th since raced, outside post is only concern.

Value Play -- Pueblo Peak

3RD RACE:

Grady - Weakened from inside post in last, won photo-finish before that, runner up in prior pair of outings, in the quinella 5 of a dozen starts last year, reunites with winning rider Nakatani for trainer Mitchell here.

Southern Squall - Overmatched and outrun on lawn at Oak Tree in last, won prior pair of outings, freshened with steady works, attracts McCarron for return.

Value Play -- Tatum's Barron

4TH RACE:

Ta Ta Be True - Won with 3-wide bid on Hollypark lawn in last, 3rd in prior pair of outings, broke maiden on Del Mar sod at a mile, trainer Van Berg is hot right now.

Sharp Eyes - Big turnaround maiden breaker at Oak Tree in last, steady works since raced, bred to like lawn and stretches out now, outside post is primary concern but respect connections.

Value Play -- Eastside Westside

5TH RACE:

Dreamer's Serenade - 4-wide and weakened in last, drops to claimer now, Solis takes over on this one of two Hendricks trainees in the race, may have found cap and gown level.

Wild in Excess - 1st time starter by In Excess, solid series of works over Anita track for Baffert trainee, well placed, Flores vacates top pick to scale here for debut.

Value Play -- Nor Bob

6TH RACE:

Big Fast Mama - Dueled lead and held 3rd in last, runner up at this dis- tance after pressing pace when in need of a race before that, shortens up a furlong from last outing now, Solis/Mitchell team.

Lake Veronica - 3rd in Golden Gate mud when in need of a race in last, broke maiden at this trip while claimed at Del Mar, Stevens takes over on this one of two Mitchell-trained entrys, had tightener, beware.

Value Play -- Cozy Spell
