Ernest Lewis Boggs, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born April 29, 1920, in Kansas. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired fire department captain, a World War II Army veteran, a member of IAFF Local 1285 and past president of the Variety School PTA.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; one daughter, Jane Thomas of Las Vegas; three sons, Jerry Senn of Elko, Ernest Boggs Jr. of Las Vegas and Lewis Boggs of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, George Boggs of Lyons, Kan.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens.
Curtis O. Gourley
Curtis O. Gourley, 84, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Enid, Okla. A resident for 56 years, he was a retired sheet metal worker for an air conditioning company and a former member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two daughters, Mary Ann Burch of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Lynn Burleson of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
Raymond J. Hagen
Raymond J. Hagen, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Paterson, N.J. A resident for 18 years, he was retired and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Olga; and one brother, Jim Hagen of Florida.
Burial will be in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Donald Wayne Knoll
Donald Wayne Knoll, 62, of Las Vegas died Dec. 28 in Las Vegas. A retired manager in the communications department of Reynolds Electric & Engineering Co., and an Air Force veteran, he was born June 27, 1936, in Illinois.
He is survived by one sister, Marjorie Ingold of Rankin, Ill.; three brothers, Russell Knoll of Catlin, Ill., and Otto Knoll Jr. and Richard Knoll, both of Hoopeston, Ill.; six nephews, three nieces and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
Ruth Edith Mellan
Ruth Edith Mellan, 95, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 1903, in Plainville, Ohio. A resident for 20 years, she was a retired parts department employee for an automotive manufacturer.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet Lord of Henderson; one son, Auldin Nelson of Flint, Mich.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.
Robert Emmitt Nicholl Jr.
Robert Emmitt Nicholl Jr., 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1939, in Chicago. A resident for 33 years, he was a Navy veteran.
He is survived by four sons, Christopher Nicholl and Bernard Nicholl, both of Illinois, Timothy Nicholl and Patrick Nicholl; three daughters, Theresa Cox of Illinois, Erin Nicholl and Susan Nicholl; his mother, Caroline Nicholl of Las Vegas; three brothers, William Nicholl of Illinois, Herbert Nicholl of Florida and Raymond Nicholl of Las Vegas; one sister, Gayle A. Stringham of Henderson; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
Kenneth Randall
Kenneth Randall, 68, of Las Vegas died Dec. 13 in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 21, 1929, in Minnesota. A resident for five years, he was a retired engineer/draftsman for GTE, an employee at Sav-On for three years and a Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by one son, Kenneth Randall Jr. of California; two daughters, Marjorie Case of Washington state and Theresa Randall of California; one brother, C.O. "Bud" Randall of California; two sisters, LuVerne Welte of Minnesota and Beulah King of North Carolina; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Billie Staub
Billie Staub, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 3, 1910, in Center, N.D. A resident for 35 years, she was a retired teacher, a member of the Las Vegas Gem Club, Mesquite Club and the American Association of University Women.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Merle; one son, Dr. David Staub of San Diego; one daughter, Judie Owen of Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

William C. Yake
William C. Yake, 80, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 23, 1918, in Canada. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired property company manager.
He is survived by his wife, Hope; one son, Fred Yake of Las Vegas; one brother, Tom Yake of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
