Davis and his father, Ronald Davis, died in August 1997 when their car was struck by a heavy-duty service truck belonging to Cashman Equipment Company on U-S 50 east of Austin.
Jerry Davis' widow filed a wrongful death civil suit against Cashman in district court in Reno.
The suit alleged that the driver of the Cashman vehicle had crossed over the center line causing the fatal head-on collision.
The settlement reached last week was mediated by a third-party arbitrator, the Elko Daily Free Press reported.
