Letter: Don’t pass laws that steal privacy

It would make more sense to focus on bills that will actually do some good for the common person. Law enforcement authorities should do their job the old fashioned way. Investigate leads throughly and prosecute criminals accordingly. I thought the "I" in FBI stood for investigation. Or is it intimidation?
