Cornelia 'Jenny' Lynch Aydt, 76, of Pahrump died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 12, 1923, in Orange County, N.C. A resident for five years, she was a retired inspector for a clothing manufacturer.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; and two sisters, Lillie L. Grasham of Pahrump and Margaret Richman of Mebane, N.C.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Joyce Ann Chaffin

Joyce Ann Chaffin, 61, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born July 11, 1937, in Evansville, Ind. A resident for nine years, she was a homemaker, a member of Essence of Beauty and Cancer Society Survivors.

She is survived by two sons, Don Chaffin and David A. Chaffin, both of Las Vegas; one brother, James A. Ward of Evansville; one sister, Betty Erickson of Kooshuram, Utah; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Davis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Richard Paul Chernick

Richard Paul Chernick, 52, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. He was born Aug. 5, 1946, in Connecticut. A resident for 10 years, he was a mechanic at a bowling alley and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Louise; two sons, Kenneth Jones and Andrew Jones; one daughter, Kimberly Jones; one brother, John Cernick; and one grandchild.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Deloris M. Collins-Lloyd

Deloris M. Collins-Lloyd, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 5, 1923, in Indiana. A resident for 27 years, she was a volunteer worker for Sen. Harry Reid.

She is survived by one daughter, Lynne Collins-Dorn of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Paradise Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Kenneth Edward Conroy

Kenneth Edward Conroy, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 18, 1929, in New York. A resident for nine years, he was an airline ground serviceman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Heidemarie; one daughter, Colleen Keuthen of Las Vegas; one son, Edward Conroy, and one sister, Barbara Smoren, both of Florida; one brother, Tom Conroy of New York; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Wednesday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. A veterans honor guard graveside service will be in Memory Gardens.

William Cowan Jr.

William Cowan Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Jan. 19 in a local care center. He was born April 26, 1918, in New York. A resident for 10 years, he was an X-ray technician for carbon products, a Navy veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 54.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; one daughter, Jean Alexandre; one brother, Walter Cowan; and one sister, Mary Durbin.

Neptune Society of Nevada, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, Building 5, is handling arrangements.

Gerald J. Czerwinski

Gerald J. Czerwinski, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 3, 1930, in Milwaukee. A resident for 12 years, he was a security officer and a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Merle; six sons, Gerald K. Czerwinski and Brian M. Czerwinski, both of Milwaukee, Keith A. Czerwinskik, Thomas M. Czerwinski and Michael D. Czerwinski, all of Las Vegas, and Timothy D. Czerwinski of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Susan L. Buse of Milwaukee and Anne M. Hablewitz of Las Vegas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Betty M. Gains

Betty M. Gains, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1922, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired secretary at a restaurant.

She is survived by one sister, Gloria of Las Vegas.

Elaine Kolod Gifford

Elaine Kolod Gifford, 59, of Sun River, Ore., died Feb. 8 in a Seattle hospital. She was born April 4, 1939, in Cleveland. A former Las Vegas resident until the early 1970s, she was an office manager.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruby Kolod, a Las Vegas pioneer in the gaming industry.

She is survived by her husband, Allan; one son, Daniel Fisher of Washington D.C.; four daughters, Stacy Hunt of Atlanta, Randi Stephens of Bend, Ore., Tammie Barber of Sun River and Shelley Gifford of Austin, Texas; her mother, Esther Kolod, and one brother, Leonard Kolod, both of Los Angeles; one sister, Annette Biggar of San Diego; and five grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled. The Fred Hutchinson Care Center, Seattle, handled arrangements.

Angelo Greco

Angelo Greco, 90, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 29, 1908, in Rhode Island. A resident for six months, he was a jewelry worker.

He is survived by one son, Lorenzo Greco of Chicago; and two daughters, Anne Marie Greco and Diane Lynch, both of Rhode Island.

Burial will be in Rhode Island. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Eddie Green

Eddie Green, 73, of Boulder City died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 14, 1925, in Pauls Valley, Okla. A resident for 32 years, he was a retired woodworker in the transportation and shipping industry, a World War II Navy veteran and a civilian employee at Nellis Air Force Base for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi; one daughter, Kathee Green of Denver; one son, Bill Green of Henderson; one sister, Bonnie Jean Green of California; two brothers, Earl L. Green of Victorville, Calif., and Jerry D. Green of San Diego; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Rita W. Haley

Rita W. Haley, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born July 1, 1921, in Indiana. A resident for 51 years, she was a hotel waitress and a veteran of the Merchant Marines.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin; one sister, Martha Blair of Beatty; one brother, Ronald Irving of Sacramento; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Norman Melvin Horrocks

Norman Melvin Horrocks, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born June 6, 1923, in Massachusetts. A resident for 34 years, he was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Norma of Ohio; one brother, Kenneth Horrocks of Boston; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

Robert John Januska

Robert John Januska, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 6, 1931, in Ohio. A resident for six months, he was an electrical engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Januska of Las Vegas.

Louise Knox

Louise Knox, 91, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 15, 1908, in North Chicago. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Williams of Torrance, Calif.; two sons, Kenneth Knox of Galesburg, Ill., and Don Knox of Las Vegas; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Fritzi Jean Maes

Fritzi Jean Maes, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1943, in California. A resident for 55 years, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by four daughters, Tammi Roberts, Teresa Roberts, Mitzi Riley and Amy Garcia, and two sons, Larry Roberts and Darren Lewis, all of Las Vegas; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-8 p.m. Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

John McLendon

John McLendon, 70, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Charlotte, N.C. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpet salesman and an Army veteran.

He is survived by two nieces, Mary McLendon-Hodge of Mathews, N.C., and Lisa Newberger of Monroe, N.C.

William Miles

William Miles, 78, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 10, 1921, in Denton, Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired hotel maintenance worker for five years and a member of Culinary Union 226.

He is survived by his wife, Bettie Mae.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.

Joan G. Moore

Joan G. Moore, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1908, in Wisconsin. A resident for 11 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two daughters, Constance Valenta and Patricia Swanson; two brothers, Oliver LoRoche and Lennie LoRoche; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jolean Janis Morgan

Jolean Janis Morgan, 66, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 5, 1932, in Detroit. A resident for 10 years, she was a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Jackie Buchanan of Los Angeles; one sister, Jackie Truss of Detroit; and two grandchildren.

Services and burial will be in Michigan. Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Reynaldo E. Pasinoble Sr.

Reynaldo E. Pasinoble Sr., 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 6, 1938, in the Philippines. A resident for 20 years, he was a service worker at the Las Vegas Convention Center and a member of the NSEU union.

He is survived by two sons, Romeo Pasinoble and Reynaldo A. Pasinoble; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2 p.m. until a 4 p.m. service Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

Lucille Mary Rao

Lucille Mary Rao, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 14, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by four daughters, Rosemary Rehfeldt of Henderson, Michele Vivion of Las Vegas, Marilyn Carroll of Gaithersburg, Md., and Carolyn Rao of San Francisco; one son, Joseph Rao of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mildred Camba of Long Beach, N.Y., and Sarah Paz of Oceanside, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.

Anthony Bruce Satre, 56, of Las Vegas died Jan. 23 in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1942, in Iowa. A resident for many years, he was a chef.

He is survived by one brother, Leroy Satre of Arizona; and three sisters, Ilene Satre of California, Donna Berg of Iowa and Patricia Lundgren of Florida.

Bernard Silverberg-Stevens

Bernard Silverberg-Stevens, 64, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1935, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired taxi driver and a personal caregiver.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; and one sister, Myrna Robinson of Los Angeles.

Harry Milton Stock

Harry Milton Stock, 78, of Norman, Okla., died Thursday in an Oklahoma hospital. He was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Frankville, Iowa. A former Las Vegas resident for 35 years, he was a retired casino manager and World War II and Korean War Navy and Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Darnell Stock; five sons, Ronald Stock of Little Rock, Ark., Charles Darnell and Ron Darnell, both of Las Vegas, Joe Darnell of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Phil Darnell of San Diego; three daughters, Inez Linder of Las Vegas, Andrea Darnell of Norman and Dana Darnell of Tustin, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
